- This challenging program demands a lot of students but does its part to support their ability to work responsibly and self-sufficiently through, for instance, participation in research projects during the basic study stage.
- Besides a basic education in natural sciences, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, the degree program includes a broad introduction to the various sub-disciplines of modern biology.
- After a solid basic study period, starting in the 5th-semester students decide on a specialization in one of the following areas: Bioanalytics, Botany, Genetics, Microbiology, Plant Physiology, Physiology, and Zoology.
- This specialization is complemented with a comprehensive, mostly practical education in the interdisciplinary area of biological signals. The subject spectrum is rounded off by additional basic and professional modules.
