We practice the democratic and coaching style of leadership in our institute. In some of the classes of practical insights where we want to give freedom to faculty on teaching methods, we follow the Laissez-Faire style of leadership.

There are many loopholes which are to be filled, and future looks bright in terms of education

Higher education, in general, serves broader societal objectives. Higher education also serves a wide array of students with differing needs, resources, and capacities.

A challenge in higher education counts many, but some of them can be narrated as:

  • To find ways and means to reduce the cost burden on parents and increase the productivity of the education process.
  • To find the best possible technologies on which online education can be given to the students as the testing time of COVID 19 progresses.
  • To find excellent and efficient students in Higher education and make a smooth process run in hunting a talent matching role to cater to the needs of today's Industry.

There are probably many solutions in New Education policy, so we hope and are confident enough that students will be benefitted at large.

A plethora of courses are customized to help students get a better understanding towards technical education

Our University, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, has come up with a curriculum that is practically applicable in Industry. It has course outcomes that help the undergraduate engineering students and also the postgraduate management students.

Undergraduate engineering students are taught a series of courses in basic sciences to develop an understanding of scientific principles and methods, analytical ability, and rigor. These courses are followed by courses in engineering sciences to provide a smooth transition from basic sciences to professional engineering courses.

A series of courses in technical arts are designed to develop engineering skills through training in engineering drawing, measurements, computing skills, manufacturing technology, and effective communication.

The professional courses in the chosen field of specialization are meant to develop creative abilities for the application of basic and engineering sciences to engineering problems involving planning, design, manufacturing, maintenance, and research and development.

Courses in Management and social sciences are incorporated to develop an appreciation of the impact on society and the business sector. We are responding to demand new skills, such as computer programming or data science, even as they maintain and make a case for important education in humanistic fields that are essential to dealing with ethical and values-based questions being raised by societal changes.
