Mr. Kamlesh Mandloi is the Training and Placement Officer in the Astral Institute of Technology and Research. Previously, he worked as the Training and Placement Officer in Oriental University for 2 years. He has done B.Sc in Biology from Government PG College and MA in Political Science. He has several years of experience in the education sector.
What keeps you connected with the education sector?
“My passion for teaching and to encourage students keeps me connected with the education sector”
I had a lot of challenges when I began my career as a TPO. I set the agenda in the right direction and it helps me a lot to achieve the goal step by step. We are making full use of skills for the aspiring students. Our placement department is growing and students get opportunities. We gives Internship, career guidance, development program,industrial visit, communication or behavioral skills, working on current technologies such as AI, Robotics, machine learning,IoT, Cloud based computing, azure,and more for pupils. They can learn the skills with live and virtual based practical platforms. It helps to bridge the gap between the industrial requirement, syllabus, and curriculum of courses.
What is your leadership philosophy?
“Follow an inspirational leadership style to build up personal connections with individuals”
In my opinion, a leader should influence someone with his perspective and reach out more accessible towards people by using tactics. I always follow inspirational leadership way to build up personal connections with each individual who is part of a team or institute. We open up to each aspirant to express on an open forum for freedom. It can clear their doubts,and queries as well. Each individual counseling of aspirant students makes a better idea and we created a unique culture for students. Our pupils get different placement opportunities from campus.
What is the placement statistics of Astral Institute of Technology and Research?

Several companies recruited our students. Some of the companies include TCS, Infosys, Galaxy Weblink, Bajaj Capital. Deloitte, and more. One of the most valuable assets for us is MOU with INFOSYS. Students get training, development programs, internship, certification program, behavioral skills and can groom their personality as well. We deal with several organizations and provide training programs related to interview cracking skills. Some of the off campus drives are also available for pupils.
What has been your avgerage package offered to the student on campus?
“Average package for students during a placement consists of 2.50 LPA”
Our campus gives placements for students from various companies. Minimum packages available for students include 2.50 LPA . Some pupils get a highest package of 10 LPA based on their performance.

How do you strategize about the key programs for the marketing and administration of your school?

We advertise campus events through print media, and electronic media. Students get access to Digital Media, and Social Media Marketing. We brand our courses with unique features given by administration and faculties. Our campus highlights placement areas, training, career development, guidance, and internship opportunities. They get project based assignments, and certification courses.
What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?
“To get ranked in the top 10 universities in India and become autonomous”
I would like to see the campus in the next 10 years. We plan to give placement for students in all top globalized conglomerates. Another vision is to be ranked in the top 10 universities in India.
What would you like people to know about Astral Institute of Technology and Research they may not know?
“Freedom with self esteem and open forums for discussion are advantages of campus”
All individuals in the campus get freedom with self esteem. We conduct open forums to gather ideas about all pupils. They can clear their queries at any time from the campus.
What do you see as the greatest strengths of the Astral Institute of Technology and Research?
“Creativity, imagination, critical thinking, organization, and time management inside the campus”
Some of the academic strengths are creativity, imagination, critical thinking, organization, time management, delayed gratification, and impulse control. It is helpful for careers, skill development and strong critical thinking of students.
What are the biggest challenges you see for higher education in general and Astral institute specifically?
“Lack of self esteem, poor communication skills, hesitation, and fear in their mind”
One of the challenges for students is lack of self esteem, and poor communications skills. They are back in general awareness, and not clear their doubts in need of time. Another difficulty for students is hesitation, and fear in their mind. Our students overcome these challenges.
