Ms. Anshul is the Assistant Professor in the CSE Department at Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad, Haryana. She has completed her M.tech in Computer Science and Engineering. She has a total of four years of teaching experience. As a part of this institute, she aims to be the guide and mentor for all aspiring students and learners.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Learning new technologies gives me a connection to the education sector”

Despite the constantly evolving nature of the education sector, I find it useful for learning new concepts and quite interesting. During the few years that I have been a part of this industry, I have seen exciting developments. With the advancement in technology, there have been new developments in the field of education, including the rise of the "Edtech" industry. In addition, working in this industry allows me to be connected to the young generation since I am teaching them. I can nurture the young mind and know what is going on inside their minds. 

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“In my leadership style, I take care of everyone under me and achieve the best results”

Leaders and followers are articulate individuals or groups of individuals capable of influencing and guiding others in their organizations. Each person has a different style of leadership. My leadership style is to make sure that everyone under me is taken care of as it results in maximum efficient results of any task. 

How does the curriculum of your institute ensure the best practice of industry?

“We have a varied curriculum for students who are enrolled in our multiple programs”

The curriculum is designed in a way that it caters to different students who join multiple programs offered by the institute. Infrastructural factors attract students. By focusing on practical aspects rather than purely theoretical aspects, we ensure that learning is put into practice. In addition to making the subject more interesting, I believe that students learn more quickly if they use practical examples in class.

What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

"Introduce new technologies to become more flexible”

As a result of the courses we offer and the teaching methodology, the institute has already established itself in the market. Our goal for the upcoming years will be to introduce new technologies so we can become more adaptable in our industry. 

What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?

“The institute is among the oldest technical colleges in NCR region”

Students can learn practical skills through seminars, workshops, and business visits. Echelon Institute of Technology is one of the oldest technical institutes in the NCR. Campus size and EIT's infrastructure are among the institute's biggest assets. It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful campuses in Faridabad. In addition to that, students can take part in multiple seminars, workshops, and industrial visits that help them learn things practically. 

What are some of the major changes that Covid-19 has bought in the education sector?

“The shift to online classes has been a challenging aspect in the flow of education”

The efficiency of online classes is not the same as that of physical classrooms. Some verbal signs can only be observed in the physical classroom, such as student reactions. I am optimistic that we will soon have physical classes since there are some shortcomings to the online classes. 

What are the most important functions in the role that you play in your institute?

“Supporting students in their research and understanding future concerns”

In addition to teaching, I act as a mentor. Everyone who serves in any organization is expected to fulfill a specific role. While I teach students technical subjects, my role also includes supporting the students in their research, understanding future issues, and completing their projects.

Any suggestions or messages that you would like to give to the current youth?

"It's important for them to continue learning"

In my opinion, youth are full of creative ideas and they can achieve anything if only they choose to. It is important for them to continually learn even outside their institute. Every single aspect of life involves learning, not just classrooms. They should reflect on their failures and find ways to overcome them to succeed.
