"I am responsible to educate, guide and transform students into amazing designers"
Being the Professor, the horizon of my responsibilities is very vast and my prime responsibility is to educate students, transform them into amazing designers and guide them for their future as per their personas and caliber. Because I believe each student is unique in their own way and they should be cherished for the same.
How do you establish healthy relations with the students of your college?
"By being a regular communicator and a good friend for them so that they can share their issues with me freely"

Therefore, I regularly interact with my students in order to know them better and make them comfortable enough so that they can discuss and share their issues and queries without any hesitation.
How do you bring in a practical and industry oriented approach towards subjects?
"By utilizing my past experience and knowledge of fashion designing"
Before joining the education sector and becoming a Professor, I have worked for 3 years in the Fashion Industry where I was responsible for styling models and celebrities for different fashion shoots and events. Along with this, I was involved in designing garments for various brands dealing with Couture. So, the knowledge I have gained during those 3 years, I try to use the same while educating students here in the institute. Apart from this, I take students for different kinds of educational tours and visits so that they can witness the whole procedure physically.

When you joined the college, what was your vision for it and how are you trying to achieve the same?
"My aim was to restructure the educational practices of our college and provide best industrial exposure to students"
In this dynamic world also, Colleges have been following the traditional teaching methods and encouraging students to score good marks instead of learning actual skills. This might sound a bit debatable, but this is not false at all because the prime aim of institutions is to teach students so that they can score more marks in exams and they rarely focus on developing students skills in accordance with educational and industrial needs.
And being a Professor, I believe that marks are important but institutions should educate students in such a way so that students can grow on both personal and professional fronts, become mentally, ethically, emotionally and technically. Hence, my objective when I joined this amazing college was to balance the theoretical concepts with practical learning while educating students and organizing industry interaction sessions so that when they graduate from our institute, they can easily adapt in the cut-throat competitive world.
