Dr. Mahesh Jhajharia is currently designated as the Director of Pharmacy at Saroj Institute of Technology and Management. He has a rich experience of 13 years in the education industry. Having published nearly 30 research papers in various national and international journals, he has also attended more than 10 international conferences. Currently, he is guiding 6 research scholars in their doctorate studies.

Thoughts on Education Industry

The education sector is the most satisfying industry since it enables us to deliver our message to future generations. It helps one to develop his/her personality as well. The motto of our college is to prepare such a scenario where every student goes through the research value in academics. We teach the students in such a way that they develop their interest in research activities. 

Leadership Philosophy of Dr. Jhajharia

Being a leader, it is essential to possess a professional attitude while dealing with subordinates. It helps in conveying the message in a better way. I organize a regular meeting with my team to discuss their work report accordingly. Also, motivation plays an important part when it comes to supporting the new idea of my colleagues. I prefer walking with my subordinates and not over them.

Faculty plays a vital role in the development of any educational institute. It is, therefore, essential to have highly experienced and dynamic faculty members. Major challenges faced being a Director

In my experience, the education sector is lacking in terms of providing practical knowledge. In today’s world, students are not equipped with the required skill set, which results in unemployment. 

As an educationist, it is my responsibility to bridge the gap and introduce changes according to the market requirements. However, dealing with this requires much time, which is a significant challenge for me. However, being a responsible teacher, I fulfil all my duties timely.

Time plays a vital role in managing one life. I prioritize my work accordingly and deal with every challenge in time. Having a proper time set for each goal, helps a man become more efficient and effective.

Establishing a relationship with the students

I am a guardian first and then a director to all of my students. It is essential to establish trust in them because doing so makes them feel comfortable and more vocal. This kind of environment enables the students to discuss and share their grievances easily. Saroj Institute nurtures the Millennials and helps them in solving every problem. 

Qualities required in building a brand name for Institute

The education industry is seeing much competition, which makes it challenging to build a brand. The Institute has faced a lot of ups and downs in maintaining the standards. Our institute has proven the capabilities by giving excellent results in providing placement to the students. 

SITM entering the media world

We are planning to introduce a new course, namely Film Technology, with the approval of AICTE. The foremost goal for this is to provide infrastructure accordingly. We are the first institute to introduce the course in the entire city of Lucknow. 

Suggestions to young generations

My suggestion to all the students is not waste their precious time on phones and internet. There is a life beyond it, so live it to the fullest. In the current scenario, it is a must to keep oneself upgraded with the ongoing and upcoming trends. To achieve the same, they must put their time and efforts in the right place. The era of the internet has caged the minds of the youth and put a stop to their creative and innovative minds.
