What has been the salary trend at your institute?

“The highest salary has been recorded at 15 LPA for our students”

PIBM trains the students to ensure that they become Job-Ready from day one. Even during the pandemic, we successfully placed 550+ students from Batch 2019-21 till March 2021. Our students received an average package of 6.7 LPA, while the highest package offered was 15 LPA. Our placement record has been 100% excluding the students who were debarred or opted out.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

The role of Leadership demands support and is not one-sided”

I believe that a leader becomes a leader in a true sense when he sets an example for others to follow his vision. The followers are the prime source of motivation for the leader itself. I believe to achieve a goal, everyone must understand the unified goal.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education?

“A need to change the age-old system of ‘theoretical based’ education”

For a competitive world out there, candidates ought to be trained and given the best quality education. Most B-schools still focus on the traditional theoretical learning approach while today’s new-age job roles require skilled professionals. As a result, students lack industry exposure and they stay unemployed. At PIBM, we have always believed in the “Learning-by-doing” approach. We train our students and give them the right corporate exposure through various Corporate Interactions, Industrial Visits, Dual Internships, etc. Thus we prepare them to be job-ready from Day

What would you like people to know about your institute they may not know?

“Approved UG and PG management courses with technology-driven syllabus”

We established the Pune Institute of Business Management back in 2007, after that we got AICTE approval. Earlier PIBM was in Pune providing MBA and PGDM programs, but over the years, we gradually expanded the PIBM group by opening Campuses for Graduation Courses too.

  • Acquired new campuses at Tirupati Institutes of Management (Pune) ASMA Institute of Management (Pune) and Aditya Institute of Management (Pune) offering MBA courses.
  • We registered our IT vertical in 2018 with the name RamanByte. A vision to advance the learning process in India through cutting-edge learning management software.
  • PIBM Skills is an initiative approved by NSDC, which focuses on delivering short-term job-oriented certification programs.

How does the curriculum of Institutions ensure the best practice of industry?

We offer an industry interface to students & provide rich practical domain knowledge”

Education institutions must imbibe a practical approach for training the students, design and update the curriculum regularly. Hence, our curriculum has always been industry-oriented.

  • We induced Corporate Interface in our curriculum to fill the gap between the company’s requirements and management graduates knowledge.
  • Our association with 550+ top corporate leaders enables corporate interactions through Corporate Events, Corporate Panel Discussions, etc.
  • It helps students understand the real-time challenges in an organization, and apply the theories to real-life corporate situations.

How do you guide your students to survive in the current competitive scenario?

“By guiding them to become experts in technological innovations”

Our training had been technologically advanced since the inception of PIBM. We launched our in-house AI-based Smart Learning Management Software, CLASSROOM+ a few years back. Hence our students were already comfortable with the complete shift to online learning mode. Their learning as well as placements and internships did not stop. This is how we always make sure that our students gain the necessary skills and stay up to date with the latest industry changes.

What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Training our students in modern technologies for better career opportunities”

Our prime focus will be increasing the employability of the youth by imbibing new-age training pedagogies. The focus will be on the newly emerging sectors like FinTech, HealthTech, AgriTech, EduTech, E-commerce, and more. We want our students to be skilled enough to live up to the latest trends in the industry. Also, I think it’s important to encourage the online learning system and adopt a collaborative learning approach between teachers and students.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the aspiring students?

Develop a curious mindset and work towards goal-oriented outcomes”

To the younger generation, I would like to insist they focus on a practical learning approach and skill development. Students must think out of the box and try to be detailed observant. They should be able to analyze one problem with multiple solutions.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

My passion to revolutionize and enhance the Indian education sector”

It is a well-known fact that the youth is the future of the ever-changing business sector. I feel I must be able to take the lead in transforming young and aspiring business professionals. When I see our students getting placed in top corporate companies, it motivates me even further to contribute towards my vision. The end goal is to add growth to human society.
