Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has released the results for the semester examinations for various UG and PG courses on its official website. Students need to enter their registration number to download the results.
GNDU follows a semester-wise academic curriculum. Its academic year is divided into two semesters viz. Odd and Even. The Odd semester begins in the month of August and ends up in the month of December, while the even semester starts from January and ends in June.
The university offers distance education through Directorate of Open & Distance Learning, GNDU (ODL GNDU) for working professionals and housewives to pursue their dreams.
The result is announced by the university in the month of January for Odd semester exams and in the month of June for Even Semester exams.

GNDU Result 2022: How to Download Online?
Students are required to enter their details to get their examination results. Follow the below steps to check the result:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the university.
Step 2: On the homepage click on the “Result” option under the “Examination” tab.
Step 3: On the result page, enter your “Roll no.”, the Session, Month of Examination and Course.
Step 4: Click on submit and the result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Check your results and take a printout for future use.
GNDU Result 2022: Details Mentioned on Marksheet
Students need to check the result and inform the Controller Of Examination in case of any errors. Below are the details mentioned in the result:
- Exam Name
- Semester with Subject Code
- Candidate’s name
- Registration number and roll number
- Marks secured
- Controller of examination
GNDU Improvement Result 2022
Students who wish to score more marks and are not satisfied with the GNDU results can apply for improvement to the university. These students will have to pay INR 1800 to the registrar office and submit their application for the improvement result.
Students can also apply for the practical papers for the improvement process. In case the students want to apply for rechecking then they have to pay the fees of INR 1710 to the registrar office along with the application.
The revised results will be released on the website 1 month after the submission of application. Students are advised to keep a check on the university notifications for all the updates.

GNDU Revaluation Result 2022
Students who want to apply for revaluation can apply online within 18 days of result declaration. The fee for apply is INR 1200/- per subject and INR 200/- for the form. Only form is to be submitted to applying for one or multiple subjects. Revaluation is done for the annual exam, bi-annual exam, semester exam and supplementary exam except the following:
- Exam in Faculty of Medical/Dental/Ayurveda.
- Pratical and Viva Voce.
- Semester where grading system is used.
- Exams in which the answersheets are marked by internal and external examiners.
- Semester System examination at the University Campus, Amritsar and Regional Campus at Jalandhar and Gurdaspur w.e.f. examination of December, 2009
A candidate can withdraw from the revaluation within 10 days of filling application form by submitting separate application. No fee refund will be done after submission of revaluation form.
Revaluation of a subject answer sheet will be done by two examiners separately. The average of nearest two will be considered out of three marks including the original one. Final result (favourable or unfavourable) will be binded to the students applied for reval.
How to Apply for Revaluation:
- Visit the university’s website
- Click on “Apply for Reevaluation” under “Examination” tab.
- On the new page, click on “Apply for re-evaluation”.
- On the “Re-evaluation Form” page, enter your “Roll No.”, “Session” and “academic year”.
- Enter “submit”, the re-evaluation form will appear on the screen.
- Fill up all the details on the form and submit it.
