University of Engineering and Management (UEM) was established by the group of the Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) in the year 2011. Since its inception, UEM has surpassed innumerable benchmarks of achievements. It has won the International “Best Engineering Institute Award” under the “Education Leadership Program” of “Golden give Tigers Award”; “Education Excellence Award” from “Competition Success Review” and “Best Private University in Rajasthan” Award from “Prime Time”, NDTV in 2017.

  1. Curriculum practices: The University follows the CBCS Syllabus (Choice Based Credit System) in line with foreign Universities. With this, the students can choose their subjects/papers according to their preference of career. Out of all papers, few papers are mandatory semester wise, but apart from this students can choose particular papers for particular semesters as per his/her choice of career options. Additionally, 50 new modules have been incorporated into the syllabus like IOT (Internet of Things) / Cloud Computing / Python Programming which makes the students ready for industry.

  2. Classroom environment: UEM follows a flipped classroom model in line with foreign Universities. All of the lectures are available on Gymkhana TV, a Youtube Channel (an initiative of IEM Group). Students can prepare by watching online tutorials and then come to class. Teachers will discuss the doubts and help the students in solving their assignments. Therefore, the students are ready with hands-on assignments, which they need to do in the industry.

  3. Internship Programs: It arranges internships for its students unlike any other institute of the country. Internships are available both in Summer and Winter season. PPO-Preplacement is given to the students right from 2nd year. Students are imparted with Industrial Training by taking them to industrial visits every semester.

  4. Entrepreneurship Cell: Students are given the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of reputed venture capitalists of the country once in a year, which gives them the chance to be successful in business if they want to pursue that.

  5. UEM Placements: All of the students are trained to get placed in reputed Government or Private sectors. UEM Jaipur says that each and every student who passed out till now has been placed in at least one company (MNC). UEM Jaipur continues placements till the last student is placed. More than 60 companies visit the campus for placement every year. Apart from that, students are taken regularly to Delhi to sit for placement of some company or the other. Top companies like Wipro/ Byjus/ Extramarks/ Daffodil/ Indus Valley/ Global Logic/ Experis IT visit the University. CoCubes/Amcat/Elitmus exams are conducted for the students which open up the topmost and the next possible placement opportunities.

  6. Training Process: Training for Govt. jobs are provided and is incorporated in each and every course. With training tie-ups with FACE (Focus Academy of Career Enhancement), the university has become one of the most reputed training organizations of India. Additionally, it provides the students training on Aptitude/ training on Development of Communication skills / Interview Skills / How to crack competitive exams. These training make the students ready for facing job interviews and competitive exams for job placement.

  7. Workshops: Regular Workshops and talks from Industry personnel and reputed academicians are held through the different student chapters of the University like  ACM USA student chapter, IEEE USA student chapter, IETE student chapter, ISLE student chapter, ISHRAE student chapter, UEM Motosports, Entrepreneurship Cell BEACON, IGBC student chapter. Many of these talks are done by Foreign professors or Foreign industry personnel. Students get the opportunity to interact with foreign professors regularly, which make them ready for communicating to the world outside and also helps them pursue higher studies abroad.

  8. Activities for Students: They are encouraged to do project works regularly keeping in mind the needs of the industry. the cost of which is reimbursed by the University. Also, UEM Jaipur professors receive several funded projects from industry and students get to work in those projects directly. Therefore, before leaving the students have the opportunity to work in industry projects and become handy in those works. It also conducts Job Fair twice a year, where around 50 companies remain present under a single roof to recruit students and give job offers, which opens up a big opportunity for the students to get well placed.
