What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Continuous learning process and improvements”

Lot of curriculum related discussions and activities have pointed to the continuous learning progression for lifetime. It embarks on the industry – institute partnerships for enrichment of both the areas and make relevant developments. I have strongly believed that the enrichment, eventually, is for the individuals, institution and society as a whole.

How would you describe your leadership style?

“Inspire and incorporate productive practices”

Leadership involves setting examples. Leadership in my terms means inspiring others and inculcating their potential in a constructive manner to achieve common goals for all. I usually follow the do-it-yourself principle that improves self confidence of the team members and also provides enough reasons for others to follow such codes.

How does the curriculum of the institute ensure the best practice of industry?

“Off-class practices and regular events to explore the industrial world”

The curriculum we follow, as set by the University, is approved by the AICTE and the Council of Architecture. The rigors of the courses in Engineering and Architecture, combined with the off-classroom practices like meeting the expert, attending and organizing seminars and exhibitions help in better industrial exposure and practical learning. Moreover, participating in competitive events and educational tours has yielded fair results for students and promises to deliver further in the future.

How do you help your students to cope up with the competition in the outside world?

“Regular guidance and approaches to compete at global level”

The students are made aware of the competitive nature of the professional world through various events and training sessions. Competition does not mean achieving at any costs; rather, it is about a responsible approach to the modern day challenges. We guide students to achieve new landmarks and goals. The new areas of expertise are explored and skills are inculcated in students to stand unsurpassed at global levels.

What do you think should be the institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Standard quality institution with facilities and moral environment”

Our mission is to contribute to the academic standards and the overall knowledge development of the students by establishing a standard education hub. In coming years we aspire to provide state-of-the-art infrastructure and a helpful learning environment to aid students’ development with bright colors. Also, we strive to improve moral and ethical values among students and staff through co-curricular programs and activities.

What are the biggest challenges you see for higher education in your Institute?

“Query solving and awareness regarding education institutions”

With the increase in education and literacy levels in the country, people are becoming very critical of every issue concerned with higher education. The general queries regarding acquiring specific skills, probability of fruitful employment and certification of course curricula have been there for quite some time. In addition there has been the introduction of a multi-disciplinary approach to higher education and the freedom of choice based studies. These are definite challenges that are to be dealt with immediately by the Institution. We are constantly improving and coming up with a webinar series and student guidance program online on the recent developments on various architecture and environment related issues. Also, we are planning to launch our e-journal soon.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?

“Patience and tolerance are important in life”

One suggestion is to be patient. I have noticed that youth are always in hustle to achieve too many goals in a short period of time. We need a more sustainable and settling approach today. They must learn to set good examples in remaining tolerant and steadfast in their approach to achieving success.
