Nagendra Singh is the Registrar of the Netaji Subhas University. He comes with an experience of over 10 years as an administrator. Before joining the NSU, he was a marketing head in Idea cellular in Pune. He is responsible for expanding the research base of the institute by attracting faculty from varied disciplines and is involved in providing administrative support and mentorship to facilitate the professional development of faculty members. He is committed to cross-functional integration in the management of business processes and has championed in converting the college NSIBM to Netaji Subhas University. His responsibilities include developing outreach goals and managing institutional and educational outreach. He also looks after alumni activities and their engagement with the institute.

My constant effort is to provide quality education to the students from all walks of society

The word education has been in existence since time immemorial and has been blessed with immortality. I have been privileged to become a part of this industry, which is the only place where the future is crafted and thus makes it the best among all. My extensive experience in this industry has added value to my overall perspective of life. This industry has helped me associate with future leaders, and it is my constant effort to provide quality education to students from all walks of society. 

Owning my mistakes and living through modesty is my philosophy 

My philosophy is to accept what you have done. Out of them, Owning my mistakes and living through modesty is what I practice. As a Leader I take full responsibility for decisions I make and in-turn I chanelize the performance of the followers.Also, a leader must inspire his employees. The work of the leader is not to dictate but simplify the task in a manner to make the employees feel comfortable. He/She should show commitment and passion in day-to-day verticals of life. Thus, "Inspiring the way to success" is my leadership style.

Clubbing the revised curriculum with extensive experience will build a robust foundation

The primary goal of NSU is to increase the number of skilled workers. This will be done by bringing together training institutions and employers to strengthen the foundational, technical, and work readiness skills needed by new employees. The toolkit will ensure that the curriculum is raised according to the current industry standards. Revising the curriculum as per industry feedback, and academicians who have extensive experience in their respective domains will build a robust foundation.

Taking care of students and adapting to meet the needs of learners is an ideal school environment

For me, an ideal school environment should attract teachers who are knowledgeable, take care of student learning, and adapt their instruction to meet the needs of their learners, thereby embracing a safe learning place for students. Other factors on which I would like to work are:

Building a healthy environment results in a healthy relationship with the students

I think building and sharing a healthy environment with the students results in a healthy relationship. This can carried out by group meetings with students from all courses on a regular basis. Also, encouraging student feedback and setting up a student counseling cell to help them share their problems. This results in to get desired solutions.

We give exposure on various fronts to develop the personality of the students

We have a strong network of alumnis, therefore we keep organizing Alumni meets, which helps the current students to know the perspective of the people working in the industry. Also, we have set up a common social platform to exchange individual experience. As a growing institution, we emphasize mock group discussion, and personality development programs regularly by inviting companies for seminars and workshops. Frequent industrial visits to expose students to industrial functioning also gives a boon to the students.

We are working as a team to place our institution amongst the top ranking institutes

We as a team are working together to place Netaji Subhas University amongst the top-ranking educational institutions in India. We are bringing the dreams to reality by encouraging student exchange programs, enrolling the foreign students into our university. This helps to attract quality placements for our students. We have recently started our Incubation centre to promote entrepreneurship.
