Institute of Actuarial Science and Quantitative Studies (IAQS) conducts Quantitative Aptitude Test (QAT) Exam for admission in bachelor courses in actuarial science and Quantitative Finance. The exam will be held every Saturday from May 25, 2020. It is held in online mode from the centers allocated by the institute. Students need to apply online by registering with the necessary details and filling up the application form. The exam fee is Rs 1000. Students need a minimum of 50% marks to pass the exam.

QAT 2020 Exam Duration

QAT Exam is held online from various centers marked by the university. The total duration of the exam is 2 Hrs or 120 mins. The number of questions you will have to attend is 70. So, the average time allotted per question is approximately 1min 70 secs. 

QAT 2020 Exam Pattern Details

  • QAT Exam tests you on your Mathematics and Statistics and English skills. 
  • The test is divided into two sections, Mathematics and Statistics (70%) and English (30%). 
  • The Full mark is 100marks.
  • There are 30 questions of 2 marks each and 40 questions of 1 marks each.
  • There is a negative marking of 25% for every wrong answer.
  • The minimum passing score is 50%.

QAT 2020 Exam Fees

To apply for the QAT Exam, students need to register and submit the application form along with the exam fees. The exam fees are Rs 1000. The exam fees is non refundable. Students unable to pass the test or get admission in the institute will not be refunded the exam fees.

The score will be available in the student login immediately after appearing for QAT. After appearing for QAT (irrespective of the result), the student is eligible for the personal interview. The minimum passing score is 50%.
