We conduct mentoring, guiding sessions where we help students to explore various career options available to them, we also explain to them what are their weak areas and how they can improve upon them. Along with all these, we also conduct motivation sessions to boost the morale of the students. We provide students with a variety of changes through various activities to showcase their abilities and skills. How do you make the curriculum of your institute industry-oriented?
“Providing students with both practical and theoretical knowledge”
After explaining the theory in class, we conduct practical sessions regularly to help them gain experience and understand the practical application of the theories. It helps them to co-relate the theories which they have been taught in classes with the practical application, which prepares them for industry work. Apart from this, we also have value-added courses right from the beginning of academic sessions that enable them to learn additional micro-disciplines, apart from the prescribed course. We try to make the students do as many industrial visits as possible in the nearby region so that they can get enriched knowledge not only in theory but also in practical training. We also organize guest lectures and seminars from the industrial people so that they can give the knowledge of what is happening in the field to the students.
