NIT Delhi is very young, and it can not be compared to NSUT and DTU. Now the better option among these two depends on your branch choice. If you want to opt for CoE/IT/ECE, NSUT has slightly better placements in these branches. But in core branches (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Poly), DTU has a really good placement record. Moreover, DTU has a great campus life.
None of the branches of Jain University offer good academics. The faculty base is average at best. The management of the university isn’t cooperative. The curriculum isn’t challenging. The learning process is mostly theoretical. You won’t get much practical exposure.
Usually, mass recruiters visit the campus placement. According to the placement highlights, the average CTC offered is around INR 4.96 LPA.
There is no such thing as lowest CTC in NICMAR. It's very clear that if you don't perform well during the interview you will not receive any job offers.
Now talking about the salary package, the batch of 2020 received an average package of 6.75 LPA. The placement percentage was recorded to be 99.2%
Coming to the question regarding how much you could expect depends upon various factors like your academic performance, the ongoing market scenarios, and your performance on the day. Additionally, if you have two years of work experience then it will all go well and you can even expect a package above 5 LPA.
Jadavpur University has managed to survive the recession to give its student a handsome placement package. My friend is currently studying there and their placement happens all around the years, unlike IITs where placement happens for two weeks or so.
Like most engineering colleges, CSE as usual tops the placement with their highest packages. The most popular recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, etc.
Almost 100% of students are placed in all the branches. Here are some branch-wise placement statistics for the year 2020.
Departments | Average Package | Highest Package |
CSE | 20.6 LPA | 58 LPA (Google) |
IT | 15 LPA | 51 LPA (Shopee Singapore) |
EE | 9.73 LPA | 65 LPA (Atlassian) |
Mechanical Engineering | 8 LPA | 17.6 LPA (GAIL) |
Chemical Engineering | 6 LPA | 16.8 LPA (AB InBev) |
Production | 7.2 LPA | 22 LPA (Goldman Sachs) |
Another good thing at Jadavpur University is that most of the big IT/ Analytics firms do not discriminate between the branches and allow them to sit for their placements. This way, you can grab a job in any field that you would like if you develop an interest in it in your college tenure.

Mainly IT companies visit the Sathyabama University campus for recruitments. On the other hand, very few core companies visit the campus for branches like Mechanical, Civil, Aero, Auto and Pro. Even the ones that do visit, mostly end up not recruiting any students.
The CS and IT department receives top companies like Oracle and HP. But the eligibility criteria of such companies is very high. Mass recruiters like Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro also visit the campus, and are quite easy to crack. Unfortunately, the university does not see any dream companies or high paying companies during placements.
This is the entire placement scenario at Sathyabama University.
One of my cousins graduated from NIT Trichy and having read online reviews of the alumni here are some things that you should know.
The top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Flipkart, DE Shaw, Amazon, Uber, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Amdocs, CT Corp, etc. visit the NIT Trichy campus during their placements.
One of my friends graduated from Kongu Engineering College and here is what he had to say about the scope for post-graduation of Engineering Degree in Kongu Engineering College.
Here are the recent placement highlights of the institute.

These are the career opportunities after M.E in Kongu Engineering College.
The placement scenario for K J Somaiya is pretty good. Big MNCs visit the campus but the probability of the students being selected or rejected depends on the student’s knowledge as well as their skill set.
The environment of K J Somaiya is very competitive. Students put in their best and work extremely hard to learn new things like programming languages, platforms, etc. It is because, by the end of the engineering degree, everybody lies at an equal level and is equally knowledgeable.

If you wish to grab the best package, you need to stand out and offer something unique from your end with regard to knowledge as well as personality. This stands true for all the other colleges as well, including IITs and VJTI.
If you are an exceptional student, you will be able to grab a good job irrespective of your college name. On the other hand, if you are an average student who is struggling to pass the subjects, then you will get an average package which would range around 25,000 per month or even worse, might not get a job at all.
In the top three law schools, the placement scenes are fantastic.
In terms of placement, WBNUJS has been doing really well. In the past, it has received 100% placement (not inclusive of those who do not sit for placements). The graduating class of 2020 received offers for all 78 participants who participated in the recruitment process.
With 30 students taking Day Zero in NALSAR, a total of 28 offers were offered, with 17 being accepted.
Last year at NLSIU, 47 final-year students who opted for it were hired by 19 businesses. The average remuneration package was about Rs 18 lakhs. In 2020, 40 job offers were made during NLSIU's day zero recruitment, which set a record.
The average salary at each of the top three law schools is nearly identical. Domestic and international firms pay different amounts for traineeships, with the average foreign firm package ranging from INR 38 lakhs to 44 lakhs and the average domestic firm package ranging from INR 8 lakhs to 18 lakhs.
Also, it's not only about attending one of the top three law schools; possibilities abound and are available to students from all law schools. If you are dedicated and hardworking, you will find a place at the top.
