IIIT Allahabad offers an average package of INR 34.66 LPA for IT students. A few facts and figures about the placement record of IIIT Allahabad are mentioned below:

• Students studying Information Technology (IT) at IIIT Allahabad enjoyed an impressive average annual salary of INR 34.66 LPA. Whereas last year the amount was in and around INR 20 LPA.
• The institute achieved an excellent placement rate of around 95.76%, which is fantastic news for IT students.
• In 2023, some students hit the jackpot with extraordinary job offers. The domestic package peaked at INR 82.50 lakhs per annum. NIT Jalandhar placements are good for M.Tech. According to the recent placement highlights, the average CTC offered for M.Tech branches is around INR 6 LPA. The highest CTC offered goes up to INR 10 LPA. Comparably CSE has a better placement record. Adobe, Oracle, OYO, Intel, L&T, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive. 

In general, there are very limited core placement opportunities in ECE because of the limited scope in this field especially in India. ECE placements at Thapar University are no different. As a whole, ECE placements here are decent because mostly consultancies and management visits for recruitment. The only issue is that core jobs are very less.

But on the bright side, students of Thapar University can sit for placements in all branches thereby opening more gates of opportunities for them. This makes up for the lack of core jobs. 

I asked a friend about the placements scenario of ECE and she shared a few pieces of information

• Around 60-65% of students get placed in the ECE department.
• The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, 
• The lowest salary package is 4 LPA, 
• The average salary package is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. 
• Top Recruiters are Amazon, WDC Gameskraft, McKinsey, JP Morgan, etc. 
• Around 75% of students get internship offers in roles such as SDE, member of technical staff, and quant.

In all, ECE placements at Thapar University are average. 

The placements for the BIT Mesra Main Campus BE program are particularly good for the core branches and circuital branches. The CSE and IT placements record the best placements while in other branches the scenario is average. 

BIT Mesra placement drives are conducted by its active placement cell. In 2022, students received 1257 placement offers. The highest salary was recorded at INR 58.33 LPA while the average salary was INR 13.01 LPA. A total of 235 companies visited the campus.

As per the placement record of last few years, PUMBA average package for MBA Pharma-Biotech is around INR 4-7 LPA.

IISc Bangalore has an excellent placement scenario thanks to its active placement cell that conducts placement drives every year. My knowledge is limited to IISc placement 2021-2022 only. The average salary package stood at INR 23 LPA and the highest salary of IISc was recorded at INR 60 LPA. 

Out of the total of 528, 276 graduating students were placed, and 6 UG students and 270 PG students were also placed. The median salary for UG students was recorded at INR 13.50 LPA, INR 20 LPA for the 2 years PG students, and INR 21.69 LPA for the 3 years PG students.
