What is the interview process like for the Mu Sigma- TAPMI L.E.A.D Program?
The interview process for the new L.E.A.D program at TAPMI is going to be an interesting one. The interview is conducted by a panel consisting of TAPMI faculty members and Mu Sigma officials.
Candidates will be tested on the following criteria:

How was your SPJIMR interview experience for the finance stream?
One of the students interviewed by SPJIMR on 25th February 2021 for the finance stream, shared their experience. During Group Interview 1, two professors and three students were present. You should give well-prepared answers when asked about yourself, why you want to pursue an MBA, your long-term and short-term goals, and your favorite subject. You should also confidently answer questions about financial management, such as what CAPM is and what Beta is in CAPM. If you are unsure of an answer, you should try to explain it as best as you can.
When asked about the performance of banks in the country and whether the latest budget provisions will help, you should be well-prepared with your answer. When comparing recent changes to those made in the 90s, you should try to highlight both the positives and negatives. When asked about the challenges you've faced during bank audits, you should answer based on your experience in the sector.
During Group Interview 2, two professors and four students were present. You should confidently answer questions about your experience during Group Interview 1 and explain why you want to pursue an MBA and your long-term and short-term goals. If asked about your hometown, you should try to answer as best as you can. If asked how you would cope in SPJIMR for two years, you should link your answer to your audit experience of going outstation for months and managing to cope well.
Does anybody study M.Tech Cryptography and Security at the ISI Kolkata? How do I crack the admission procedure and what are the interview questions like?
This course is relatively new and not many students have opted for it as of now. Cryptology Department at ISI is, nevertheless, extremely renowned in the academic circle and industry. A lot of students take their Ph.D. from here and the research is of remarkable quality.

My friend received a call in Cryogenic on the basis of her GATE score in the Instrumentation exam. The entire interview lasted for 12 minutes. The panelists initially cross-checked the GATE score with her and then began the interview.
They asked her where she hailed from and then posed a number of technical questions like
- What motivated you to do research in Cryogenic?
- What is the use of Instrumentation in Cryogenic technologies?
- How are acoustic impedances compensated in industrial-type measurements?
- What is the importance of the Gauge factor in low-temperature measurements?
- What fuels are used for Oxidation in engines?

Based on her experience, the maximum questions were based on her research work only so you need to prepare well in the same.

- He was also asked about his working experience and how did he feel after he was laid off when his company closed its operations.
- What was the average rate of a room in Aamby Valley City?
- They asked him about his subjects during his schooling and graduation.
- What the average revenue earned by a 5-star hotel?
- Then they asked him about his preferred specialization and the reason for choosing that specialization.
He converted the interview. According to him, staying confident and giving honest answers helps. If you don’t know the answer to any question, admit it.
I have interview calls from XLRI, IIFT and all the six new IIMs, as well as for the MIB course at the Delhi School of Economics. Which college is the best option for me?
It's important to note that XLRI offers two programs: BM (Business Management) and HRM (Human Resource Management). The HRM program is considered to be in a league of its own and is not directly comparable to a general business management program. With regard to your question, it's important to focus on converting the maximum number of calls you have received before making a decision on which business school to attend.
As a fresher with gender diversity and decent past academic performance, you have a good chance of getting through the GD/PI process if you perform well. The only area of concern may be your low marks in Class XII. While XLRI places a significant emphasis on the interview process, taking into account past academics, IIFT places a heavier weight on the entrance exam score (about 60% weightage). Therefore, B-schools like FMS, IIFT, and MDI are best suited for those with average past academics.
XLRI is a strong choice, followed by IIFT, New IIMs, and DSE. For an MBA in International Business, IIFT is considered to be the best B-School in India offering an MBA (IB) program. It's important to keep in mind that this order is based on personal opinion and you should conduct your own research and weigh your options before making a decision.
