Mock exams are unquestionably the most crucial part of the IPMAT Indore exam preparation. If you carefully analyze each mock exam, about 25 to 30 would be enough to pass this one. You won't benefit from mocking someone just for the sake of mocking someone. In essence, you're just wasting your time if you don't spend two to three hours analyzing each mock. Accordingly, 1-2 months should be sufficient for you to comfortably administer and evaluate 30 mock exams.
By taking practice exams, be sure to come up with a winning strategy that will help you perform well on the real exam.
One of my friends graduated from Pondicherry University and having read a few online reviews regarding this topic, I would suggest some things.
Securing a seat in Central University requires preparation strategically. So if you want to clear the Pondicherry university entrance exam just prepare according to the syllabus. Thorough preparation for a month will make things easier.
Difficulty level of BITSAT is higher compared to GUJCET and MHTCET. You will need more practice to score in BITSAT. It also has negative marking, which makes scoring more difficult.
In BITSAT, students are required to answer 130 questions within 3 hours. There are four sections in the examinations, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English.
In MHTCET and GUJCET, the questions are from PCM only. MHTCET has no negative marking as well.
The students of MNNIT Allahabad successfully clear GATE/ESE through their hard work and dedication.
Here are my observations in this matter-
As much as I have observed, it is their discipline and a planned routine that helps such students excel in their life.
Let me share my friend’s experience when he also faced similar doubts. Getting a call and converting are different things. Your chances of getting into the top IIMs are low. If you secure 99+, you are still able to be in the competition.
Besides, GD-PI performance will always be beneficial and if you are selected, work experience can be extremely helpful in terms of job placement.
You can also apply for MDI and SP Jain as they are also very good institutes.
The level of difficulty of any test or exam depends on your intelligence, IQ, English speaking and writing skills, Mathematics, and logical reasoning. The aptitude test comprises questions based on similar topics. The difficulty varies from individual to individual. For instance, you might be able to ace the aptitude test but falter during the interview ruining your chance of admission.
My brother was able to crack the Aptitude test as he had been preparing for JEE and the level of Math and English was way below what he had prepared.
The interview is the trickiest part. They can literally ask you anything from the structure of the Indian Government to the weather in your hometown. Most of the questions can be solved with luck and logic. They might also ask you what you have studied so far and what you haven’t. You can never be fully prepared for the interview. Rather than your knowledge they asses your confidence and other soft skills during the interviews.
The preparation strategy of CAT and XAT are more or less similar but have some differences too. Since my friend has already prepared for CAT, the points below are important for the preparation of XAT.
These are some of the most important preparation tips for XAT. For XLRI, the cut-off percentile for HR is about 93 and that of BM is around 96. You should aim for a 98+ percentile score, which has a good enough weightage. A greater percentile always has more chances for the call to get converted.
As a non-Maharashtra candidate, you are eligible to take all the entrance exams that the institute accepts, including the Maharashtra CET. It is a common misconception that non-Maharashtra candidates are not eligible to take CET, but this is not the case. CET is one of the widely taken entrance exams and is considered to be more challenging compared to other exams such as CMAT, MAT, and ATMA.
In recent years, the institute has accepted CET, CMAT, MAT, and ATMA for admission. It is not yet clear what the admission process will be for the next academic year, but it is assumed that it will be similar to the previous years.
Taking multiple entrance exams, such as CET, CMAT, MAT, and ATMA increases your chances of getting admitted to the institute. To have a better chance of getting admitted, you should aim for a percentile of 99.99 or 99.98. Keep in mind that the competition is tough, especially for the limited number of seats available for non-Maharashtra candidates, which is currently 18.
The engineering degree that you get after completing 4 years in college will not help in your occupation in anyways. But the type of college from which you get this engineering degree will definitely help you in getting a better job. There are many factors based on which one can decide which is better IIT or BITS. A few points to consider includes the following.
