Apex is an independent institute of Chandigarh University that offers industry collaborated programs in partnership with IBM, TCS, ICICI, FLIP, Unity, and Tally. One of my cousins studied here, so I might be able to provide you with some facts about it.
These technologies are extremely crucial in today's corporate management. Big Data Analytics benefits not only large corporations but also small firms by enabling business processes.
In terms of Civil engineering, both the colleges, JUIT Solan and JUET Gunaare good colleges to learn from and for overall development. But the latter comparatively has an edge over the former.
Academics:
JUET Guna campus is sprawled in multiple folds, over more than 125 acres. The civil engineering lab at JUET GUNA is more equipped than JUIT Solan from what I have heard from many of my seniors. Due to the much bigger campus, you can use up the instruments more efficiently.
Placements:
As far as the placement is concerned, both are nearly the same. If you want to go to a non-core Job you can easily get it with good effort or else if you opt for core jobs then they conduct pool campus drives specifically at different locations.
Here’s a brief comparison of the Civil Engineering course offered by the institutes.
Parameters | JUIT Solan | JUET Guna |
Fees | INR 95,000 | INR 2.06 LPA |
Placement Average | 70% | 72% |
Average CTC | INR 5 LPA | INR 3.75 LPA |
Going by the factors mentioned above it is safe to say that JUET Guna will be a better choice for Civil Engineering.
One of my cousins is from PEC Chandigarh. So I know about the situation here. It is a simple answer that you should go for Mechanical in PEC Chandigarh. Because PEC is the second-best institute in northern India, after DTU.
And the rank at which you are getting Mechanical is the rank at which you would not have gotten Production Engineering in PEC a year ago because PEC has increased the number of seats in each branch.

Mechanical Engineering is one of the most prestigious branches in PEC with the most distinctive Alumni and Faculty.
I have friends studying production engineering at PEC Chandigarh and they have come across that it is somewhat similar to mechanical engineering. You can expect a lot of mechanics and physics, however, some subjects differ as you get into the core.
Coming to the question, it totally depends on your pool of interest whether you are into mechanics and production or metallurgy. Here are two major factors you might consider before choosing any of them
At the end of the day, follow your passion and know where you can invest these 4 years of your life. Nevertheless, if getting a job is your goal then go for production engineering. On the other hand, metallurgy engineering can open doors for good research work if you are interested in doing so.
DTU would be a better option for pursuing CSE than MNIT Jaipur or IIIT Allahabad. The reasons to choose DTU over other universities are as follows:
So, whether you're into designing the next big app, engineering groundbreaking solutions, or simply want to make your mark in tech, DTU is your launchpad. It's where your dreams take flight, your passions are nurtured, and your future is crafted.
Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is more like a school with strict rules and regulations. The professors are known for their sternness and apathy towards the students. Well, you should not believe in such a rumor, if you have not witnessed it yourself.
Faculties:
The professors are quite cooperative here. They guide them throughout the courses. They make sure the students attend lectures over cultural fests.
Coding Culture:
The coding culture is still developing. It is eminent as there are opportunities for students to harness their skills to the best of their abilities. However, the professors are not highly experienced or in synchronization with industry which is a disadvantage on the part of the students.
Here is a brief outline of the B.Tech courses offered at the institute.

Overall, MSIT is a decent option for a B.Tech degree but if you want to do well in academics, you have to go the extra mile yourself.
As far as private universities are concerned, Manipal is one of the best there is. The medical college, KMC boasts of having an excellent curriculum and there is a similarity between theirs and the curriculum of the foreign medical schools. The same can be said for the dental institute, MCODS.
A number of fine chefs have come out from the hotel management. Some of the chefs have even participated in the famous cooking competition ‘MasterChef’.
The engineering college, MIT, despite being a very good college, has a drawback. It is the intake of the students which makes things very difficult. It also has a negative impact on the placement of the students.
Coming to PTU, it does not have a good reputation. The faculty and the academic atmosphere are not that great. Also, drug abuse is rampant in those areas.
According to my friends studying in SIRT, it is a very well reputed college in Bhopal if you are planning to pursue Engineering.
