The placement for MSc.-PhD in Atmosphere and Sciences at IIT Bhubaneswar is not that impressive. Although the overall placement at this IIT is quite decent and the placement rate is around 90% with an average CTC of 11.4 LPA. But the placement statistics for the M.Sc courses are not good. Only a few teaching institutes visit the campus during the placement drive recruiting students mainly from courses like Mathematics and Physics, etc.
The department of Atmosphere and Sciences at IIT Bhubaneswar is still developing and there is a shortage of faculty members in this department but there are visiting faculties from the different institutes.
To pursue a joint MSc.-Ph.D. degree in atmospheric sciences from IIT Bhubaneswar a student is required to have at least 60% in aggregate in his or her undergraduate degree in a relevant stream from a recognized university. A joint MSc.- Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences is not a very popular subject among the students and the department is still developing. The School of Earth, Ocean, and Climate Sciences at IIT Bhubaneswar have well-experienced faculty members. It also invites professors from other premier institutes like the University of Ontario and University of Massachusetts.
This subject is mainly research-oriented. Topics like Meteorology, Aerosol Properties, and impacts, Urban Heat Island Effects, etc. are studied under the subject of Atmospheric Sciences. Regarding placements, Atmospheric Sciences might not provide you with opportunities from private sectors, but the Government, Ministry of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences recruit students for various Scientific posts and Contractual posts. For example, the National Centre for Antarctic Ocean and Research (NCAOR) recruits students of atmospheric sciences. Students also opt for higher education.
Choosing a university can be a difficult decision. Here is a comparison between LPU and Manipal University.

NIT Surathkal CSE will be a better option. It offers better academics and placements. NIT K placements are excellent for CSE. Students of the branch get an average CTC of around INR 15-16 LPA. While the highest CTC goes up to INR 45 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, and D.E. Shaw & Co. are among the major recruiters of the branch.
IIT Gandhinagar is better than IIT Bhubaneswar.
These are some of the reasons that make IIT Gandhinagar a superior option.
It is recommended that you opt for an institute based upon its Affiliations, Accreditations, Placements, and Extra-curricular activities. Since one of my friends is a student at IITM Janakpuri, here is what she says about the institute as a whole,
Having said that, every institute encourages 10% of the total number of seats through the management quota.
Students who look for in-depth research and study in the top graphic designing Institutes in India, then they can try enrolling in either of the institutes, namely NID (National Institute of Design) or NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology).
There is a course that can help you top in either NID or NIFT i.e. FC- Fashion Communication. The program mainly centers around four significant domains, that is, Graphic Design, Space Design, Fashion Media, and Fashion Thinking.
In fact, Graphics is based more on skill-based techniques, which is to say, the more tools and ways you understand, the better you can come up to create with your personal methodologies.
NID and NIFT are well respected to be one of the best institutes surrounding Graphic designing. You can attain greater amounts of knowledge in these institutes. You can begin to learn right away through Internet courses as well. They are renowned to teach you from the very initial moment of the study, not to mention, in-depth research as well.

IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Bhubaneswar, and IIT Patna, all the three IITs are among the second generation of IITs. According to the NIRF Rankings of 2020 IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandhinagar, and IIT Patna are ranked 22, 24, and 26 among the engineering colleges respectively. So it is difficult to decide which college is better for an MTech in CSE among these three. Given below is a brief discussion of the CSE Mtech programs offered at these IITs which will help you in making the decision.
The placement highlights of the IIT Patna for 2019 show, a total of 7 students got placed from the CSE department and 10 offers were received. The average CTC offered at this IIT was around 13.5 LPA.
