The 100 years old IIT BHU is recognized worldwide for the academic environment it offers. Hostels have large well-maintained lush green courtyards. Each hostel has its badminton court, gardens, and mess. Food provided in the mess is hygienic. There are different types of the mess facilities available like South Indian, Swastik (Jain Mess). For the internet, hostel rooms have LAN port and wifi. Internet speed is pretty good. Each hostel has its parking under camera surveillance. Anyone can keep any vehicles without restrictions. You can also hire cycles on rent (Paddle Services). The campus has a gymkhana, swimming pool, a large auditorium, Vishwanath temple, a library, cafeteria, tea stall, mother dairy, fruit corner, and stationery shop.
It has many clubs that students can become a member, like dance, music, robotics, astronomy, aerodynamics, science and technology club, film and media club, animation, photography, design, etc. Sports, cultural, and technical facilities are quite good and organize inter IIT level competitions.
Outside of the campus, there is a lot of historical places to visit like Kalbhairav (Kotwal of Varanasi), Sankat Mochan temple, Ramnagar Fort, and Ganga ghats, etc. Overall, IIT BHU provides a mixup facility of old and new IITs.
I can understand that choosing between IIT Bhubaneswar for CSE and IIT Kharagpur for mechanical engineering can be a tough choice. But it depends on your career goals and preferences. I don't have much idea about IIT Kharagpur but I can guide you about IIT Bhubaneswar. Both IIT Dhanbad and IIt Bhubaneswar are well-known IITs in India. Popular for its excellent and well-structured academic courses and research facilities. However, if you take my opinion then opting for IIT Bhubaneswar is a better option than IIT Dhanbad.
IIT Bhubaneswar:

IIT Mandi:
NIT Warangal:
Ultimately, the choice between these three options will depend on your personal preferences and priorities.
There are various factors that show that NITW is better than IIT Bhubaneshwar. Some of them are mentioned below:
The Alumni Base of NITW is better than that of IITBBS.
The ranking of NITW is better than IITBBS.
The placements for the CSE department in NITW are more efficient than the Mechanical department of IIT Bhubaneshwar.
NITW has an incredibly good college culture as compared to IIIB.
The infrastructure of NITW is also well constructed.
Choose IIT BBS Mechanical only if you have a strong interest in the field. Otherwise, no match exists between the options. If the choice is between these two, NITW is without a doubt the better option.
For Civil Engineering, IIT Ropar is comparably better than IIT Bhubaneswar. It offers better academics. The faculties of the Civil Engineering department have years of experience in teaching. Their focus is to impart quality education in theories and practical knowledge. The students will gain industrial exposure through seminars, industry visits and internships conducted by the institution. Thus, CE at MZU will be a good choice.
With your marks, it’s difficult to get the most preferred branches at SASTRA University. You won’t be able to get CSE, IT-related branches, or any integrated 5-year courses.
Also, SASTRA University doesn’t have any management quota. But there is an NRI quota. For this quota, the cutoff is less. However, in order to be eligible for the quota, you should have a close relative who lives in a foreign country.
