Production and Industrial Engineering is a specialization branch of Mechanical Engineering. Most of the subjects are similar in both branches. DTU is a good college in India. Students securing decent JEE Mains rank are able to get admission in it. This branch has good prospects for the future in DTU.

Most people are concerned about future prospects in the branch they choose. For production and industrial engineering at DTU, these prospects are good. DTU is ranked at 36 amongst all engineering colleges in India by NIRF 2020. MAIT is ranked at 89 by the week for BTech.

The Engineering Physics program at DTU is related to applied physics and has electronics as a major subject and minor electives which include Nanoscience, Nuclear engineering, Photonics, space, and atmospheric science, etc. Whereas,EEE strictly focuses on electrical subjects and excludes minor electives.

Engineering Physics and EEE are two completely different branches of engineering. The former has more opportunities for higher studies and DTU offers great exposure for that.
