BITS Hyderabad, which is affiliated under BITS Pilani, ranked 30th by NIRF amongst top engineering colleges in India, is very well renowned for computer science. While IIT Dharwad hasn't been ranked yet by NIRF.

While both institutes are quite well established and both BITS and IITs have a grand brand value, one can make a choice between the two based on the above mentioned parameters and their interest in the subject.

Alliance University, Bangalore is well known for its B.Tech courses. The college is placed 159th in the NIRF Rankings. The college is affiliated with The Institute of Engineering and Technology, UK and is approved by UGC. The college has approximately 450 students studying B.Tech per batch.
