In the world ranking of universities the Indian university could not grab the ranking of top 200 universities. Then the government decided to develop the ‘Institution of Eminence in India’ (IoE). After that it was decided that the Institution should get accreditation from UGC for working in India. UGC has also stated that it will develop a regulatory architecture for public and private institutions so that they will become world class training and research institutions.
A total of top 10 government institutions are selected as Institution of eminence. These institutions can be a mix of arts, management and technical institutions. Top 50 are selected for the national institution ranking framework and Top 500 is selected for internationally recognized rankings.
Following institutions are eligible for Institution of eminence rankings:

My friend is a volunteer of ICCHE and his experience has been overwhelming. He has been volunteering there for 1 year with little kids (around 40–50 in number). This student’s initiative has already reached heights in very little time. With the increasing number of these little buds, more and more volunteers are joining with full enthusiasm.
ICCHE tries to nurture them with love and care, which they perhaps lack in their daily life. After all, it’s not because of pity but because it’s a social responsibility to try to uplift them and convert them into assets rather than a liability of the nation.
IIEST Shibpur is one of the oldest public engineering colleges in India. NIRF/MHRD ranked IIEST Shibpur, 21st in Engineering Colleges in India. It has 19th rank in Week Top Engineering Colleges of 2020. The campus is not par as those of IITs in NITs, and infrastructure lags.
