I did my BTech in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani in 2022. BITS Pilani holds a good rank in the list of top private Engineering colleges in India. No doubt, the college has an excellent placement records and it offers good opportunities with lucrative offers. 

BITS Pilani provides industry exposure to students and helps to gain crucial skills 

The average CTC package when I completed my graduation at LPU was INR 8 LPA. However, I heard from my senior that average placement was highest in previous years. Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, Adobe, Microsoft etc. were some top recruiters participating in the placements offered by LPU in the year 2023. Around 1107 companies participated in 2023 placements. BITS Pilani average package is somewhere around INR 30.37 LPA whereas BITS Pilani highest package stood at INR 60.75 LPA.

BITS Pilani offer PhD courses in several fields and all these have different departments. BITS Pilani has a separate department for PhD courses which are given below:

• Engineering: Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical
• Science: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics

The fees for PhD courses at BITS Pilani vary based on different programs and PhD courses. Most of the PhD courses at BITS Pilani have INR 1,11,225 per year for 3 years while some PhD courses are offered at a fee of INR 62,225 per year. For PhD courses, BITS Pilani also provides financial assistance to financially weaker students. Full-time PhD students are eligible for an Institute fellowship of INR 34,000 - 37,000 per month in the first year based on their PhD course. Candidates who have been admission with master's degrees like ME/ MTech/ MPharm/ MBA/ M.Phil or an equivalent Degree are eligible to receive a fellowship of INR 37,000 per month. Other admitted students have the same fellowship amount. However, higher Fellowships can be made available in the subsequent years.

There are many streams in which BITS Pilani offer PhD or research courses. After the completion of my MBA program at BITS Pilani, I decided to pursue master’s course but later on, I was not able to opt for the course.

• The BITSAT cutoff for BE program at BITS Pilani usually lies between 125 - 320 depending upon the specialization. 
• I would suggest, anyone who wishes to get admission into BE at BITS Pilani must go through the cutoff lists of previous years and always try to secure above the previous year cutoffs. 
• The BITS Pilani cutoff is determined by depending of various factors which include the total number of applicants, the level of difficulty of the BITSAT exam that year, the number of available seats in each program and campus, and the performance of the candidates.

In the year 2023, I completed Distance MBA in Finance from BITS Pilani. 

• BITS Pilani WILP Distance MBA fees is about INR 1,27,000 for one year which is around INR 2,54,000 including study material for 2-years MBA courses. 
• The tuition fees for 1st year BTech is INR 1.45 Lakhs. However, for 2nd - 4th years of BTech at BITS Pilani one needs to pay 1.27 Lakhs which makes a total of INR 5.26 Lakhs for BTech courses. 
• Finally, the cost for pursuing an MTech course from BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programs is similar to MBA courses which is around INR 2.54 Lakhs. 
• However, the fees Structure for courses at BITS Pilani also varies with course specializations. The course fees for Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence) is different and it is offered as a 3-years course unlike other 2-years MTech courses. 
• M.Tech (Artificial Intelligence) course fees at BITS Pilani is INR 1,37,000 for each year and the total amount of fees is INR 4,11,000. 

MBA programme at BITS Pilani designed for working professionals aspiring for rapid career growth. Distance MBA at BITS Pilani allows students to learn through live online classes on a BITS Pilani tech-enabled platform. 

To be eligible for distance MBA, aspirants must have to complete their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60% scores in any stream from a recognized University. Also one needs to have at least 1-2 years of working experience in the relevant field.

Candidates need to fill and submit an online application form on the official website. Once completed pay the required amount of fees (neatly INR 1500), then download and print the application form. The application must be signed and stamped by your organization’s HR or any other authorized person of the company. Fill all the other essential details and then finally upload the application form on the website. After submission of application form, shortlisted candidates will receive an email. 

I've completed MTech from BITS. To be eligible to pursue a distance MTech course at BITS Pilani, aspirants must hold a BE/ BTech/ BCA/ BSc (4-years) or BSc (3-years + MSc) degree with a minimum score of 60%. After the completion of the B/ BTech degree, candidates must gain a minimum 1-year relevant work experience. 

BITS Pilani distance MTech admissions are offered based on GATE/ GPAT/ BITS HD online test scores. Only MTech in Software Systems admissions are conducted only through BITS Software System HD Online Test. The institute releases separate merit lists for GATE/ GPAT based admission and marks obtained by candidates in the BITS HD test. Once the candidates are shortlisted, they are called for Group discussion and personal interview round. 

BITS Pilani distance MTech course enables students to attend contact classes from anywhere over an online tech platform. 

I have completed my graduation in BTech Process Engineering from BITS Pilani. From my personal experience, BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programs is one of the best programs for working professionals to pursue distance BTech courses. 

Unlike regular BTech which is offered in 8 semesters, BITS Pilani WILP offers BTech in 7 semesters and in the last one need to decide their “Electives”. The final semester of BTech only focuses on Project work. 

For admissions, one needs to qualify 10+2 and complete their degree course (BTech/ MSc, MCA) with a minimum 60% aggregate score from a recognized Board/ University.
