What is the difference between IIM Raipur (Talentedge) and MICA (upGrad) digital marketing courses? Which one is better in terms of course modules, fees, and placements?

HN
Hardik Nagar Posted On : February 8th, 2023
MA in DAV Public Schools, India & Veda Vyasa DAV Public School Vikas Puri, DAV Public Schools, India (Graduated 2016)

When it comes to choosing a business school for a Digital Marketing program, both MICA and IIM Rajpur offer similar curriculum options. Both institutes offer a range of courses and modules related to digital marketing. However, it is important to consider more than just the curriculum when making your decision. Digital marketing is a field of study that aims to unite all sellers, manufacturers, intermediaries, producers, products, and services on one digital platform, making them easily accessible to people around the globe. It is a growing field of study for several reasons:

  • Anyone with a graduate degree can pursue this course, regardless of their background.
  • This course is highly location-independent, allowing you to learn and work from anywhere.
  • It requires minimal investment in terms of time and money for a lifelong asset.
  • When you have learned the subject thoroughly and properly covered all the important areas of the modules, you can end up earning a high salary across reputed organizations around the globe.

While the institutes will provide you with basic knowledge, you can also find the same information on free resources like blogs, YouTube videos, websites, posts, and books. Additionally, the knowledge of all the modules is not enough. It's important to grab the best certifications available online like Hubspot, Google, Facebook Blueprint, Adwords Certifications, and V skill Certifications, among others. You need to get more than 70% practical along with theory, and the knowledge of tools is a must. Without the knowledge of these tools, you would learn only half-baked digital marketing.

In this case, it becomes very tough to choose between MICA or IIM Rajpur as both provide the same basic level of education. However, there is one institute that is known as a pioneer of digital marketing for decades, Digital Vidya. They offer the best knowledge of all popular modules and tools with a majority of practical and interesting sessions. They also provide recordings of every class, and a question-and-answer platform to clear all your doubts, making them the best institute for learning Digital Marketing. They also provide 100% job assistance and are quite famous for their internships. The links and connections that they provide are also helpful as a fresher it's a tough job to achieve good chains of links.

In conclusion, it's important to plan and strategize to become the best in the field of digital marketing. Digital Vidya is a great option to consider if you want to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject and get the best job opportunities.

Are there any state quota or discount on fees in good MBA/PGDM colleges like SIBM Bangalore, NMIMS IIM Bangalore TAPMI, etc.?

SP
Shreeja Prasad Posted On : July 31st, 2021
MBA from IIM Bangalore (2018)

SIBM Bangalore, NMIMS, IIM Bangalore, TAPMI have reputed management institutes. Admissions at these colleges are done on the basis of competitive examinations, interviews, and group discussions.

  • The college also provides scholarships to meritorious students especially those who are from economically backward backgrounds.
  • The admission committees of these institutes are served by eminent people who help the meritorious students in studying by giving them financial support. There are certain donations and corpus of funds that are raised for this purpose.
  • These big institutions have good reputations in the market so they generally do not indulge themselves in favoritism because that will damage the reputation of the college. They select their beneficiaries in a transparent way. There is no such thing as a discount on fees and government quotas in these colleges.

These institutes follow all the Govt. guidelines regarding the reservation. There are reservation quotas for various categories, and for ex-servicemen, people belong to certain income criteria and reservations are there for local candidates as well.

Since NITIE revised its fee structure, is it still among best ROI B schools in India?

AT
Ayushi Tiwari Posted On : August 11th, 2021
Studied at the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (2020)

Having a few friends who graduated from NITIE, I think I can answer this question.

If you compare NITIE's fee structure among the top b schools of the country, it is still less than most of the institutes apart from the Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi.

At the same time, the placements are quite good at NITIE. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 20 LPA. So I would not claim that NITIE has the best Return On Investment (ROI) but it surely has a better ROI than most of the b schools.

NITIE has the second-best ROI after the Faculty of Management Studies. So choose accordingly and make a wise decision.

Why is MBA so costly?

AD
Anuraag Das Posted On : May 9th, 2023
Studied at MBA from NMIMS (2020)

Before I explain to you why MBAs are so expensive, let’s understand why non-MBA degrees are so cheap. Most non-MBA programs are funded by the government as their main purpose is to produce skilled graduates that will contribute to the growth of the country. This is exactly why doctoral programs are very inexpensive.

MBA graduates, on the other hand, work for corporate giants. Thus they are not funded by the government and are extremely costly. Recently, the subsidies for engineering programs at IITs have started decreasing and fees of IITs too are increasing.

However, the high MBA fees aren’t a constraint for thousands of students preparing for MBA entrance exams because the fees invested are recovered within 5 years approximately. The ROI is what attracts MBA aspirants.
