Also, Placement wise IIT Mandi has only 60% placement when it comes to Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering branch with an average placement of Rs. 13.5 LPA. In IIT Dhanbad there was 75.70% and 72.73% placement from EE and ME branches with 15.5 LPA and 14.4 LPA respectively.
