- You may get placements from a few IT companies, but overall placements are concerned NITs are definitely better than TU.
- Students who are interested in learning and exploring research fields can opt for TU as well.
- Tezpur University has very good faculty strength in ECE & CSE.
- The two departments are much older too.
- The CSE faculty and labs of TU are better than NIT Silchar.
- TU has got a good research environment as there are multiple departments of Science and Engineering, which is not the case of the mentioned NITs.
Therefore it is suggested that if you aim for an immediate job opportunity, go for NITs. For students who feel confident that they can get a job off campus or are more inclined towards academics and research can go for TU.
I took admission in Poornima University. Is it good for a CSE program?
One of my friends studied at Poornima University (PU). According to her, it is really good for pursuing a CSE program. CSE as a program has gained immense popularity and due to the corporate boom it will continue to grow even more.
Here are some reasons as to why PU is recommended:
- The CSE department has a very highly experienced faculty.
- They are very cooperative, professors also help the students with various skills they can acquire that are in-demand by the companies.
- The placements are top notch.
- Various companies like Infosys, TCS, Pinnacle, Infotech, etc. visit Poornima University for recruitment.
- They offer an average salary package ranging from 3.5 to 4 LPA. This is a great start for students joining as a fresher.
- Practical training is provided to students through various workshops and events like Hackathon.
- Students also get internships in relevant fields.
Overall studying computer science at PU is a very fulfilling experience. Here you can enhance and work on your skills to get better job opportunities.
How is Reva University Bangalore for a CSE, in terms of academics, hostel and placements?
One of my friends studied at REVA University. According to him, CSE here is really good and has a great reputation. Here are some facts about it.
- The academic curriculum is really good and updated to match modern standards.
- The faculty is very helpful and cooperative.
- They groom you to become industry-ready.
- Hostels are clean and well furnished. They are also provided with facilities like Wifi, Gym, laundry, etc.
- Placements are also good. Several top MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra participate in the placement program.

According to the reviews online, Galgotias University will be a better option for pursuing a B.Tech in CSE.
- Amity Lucknow and Galgotia University both are also good but if we talk about the CSE department then Galgotias is better.
- Their faculty is good and highly experienced.
- 80% of the CSE students get recruited every year.
- They get placed in the popular multinational companies including Infosys, Wipro, TCS and Tech Mahindra.
- They also work for the Aptitude and language skills of the students and prepare them for the placements from the first semester.

The campus life here is enthusiastic and much better than other colleges in Greater Noida. The choice mainly depends on the individual as both disciplines are entirely different. Firstly decide if you want a career in the corporate industry or not. Biotechnology is a very good subject with numerous opportunities, but it lags a bit behind in the Indian market.
On the other hand, there is a huge demand for CSE graduates both in India and abroad. Due to the immense popularity of and sudden rise of IT firms, there are many opportunities. You will never have to struggle to get a job in a reputed company.
Placements are better for CSE graduates than Biotechnology graduates. Choose the one that suits your interest.
Which is better: electronics and instrumentation in Thapar, IT in Maharaja Agrasen College or CSE in Maharaja Surajmal College?
Among these three colleges it will be better if you go for CSE at MSIT. As CSE is the most sorted department which will provide you with immense opportunities in the corporate field.
It is recommended that you do not opt for Thapar or especially electronics and instrumentation, as your scope will become limited. CSE or IT will open several gates for your future ahead.
Since you do not have any inclination towards any branch, a core branch like ICE which will require you to be one of the top students in the batch to secure a good job in the core company. Or you will get offered a job from mass recruitment companies.
So it is better to pay less for your undergraduate degree, stay in Delhi and pursue the course in demand.
Which university is better to do a B.Tech CSE, Chitkara University HP, Chandigarh University or Northcap University, Gurugram?
One of my friends studied at Chandigarh University (CU). According to him, CSE at CU is really good compared to other colleges of its level.
CSE here is mainly popular for its placements. More than 100 companies participate in their placement program.

They also have experienced faculty and management policies. They have also improved their hostel facilities and campus environment. All in all CU is a really good option for pursuing CSE.
What is the average package of CSE students in Kalasalingam University?
According to the recent reviews, the placements of Kalasalingam University are not up to the mark.
The most visited companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Tech Mahindra. They are usually the mass recruiters. They offer an average salary package of 3.5 LPA to the students.
But on a side note, never keep your expectations high as very few students receive good job offers. TCS recruited more than 50 graduates consisting of engineering students and some other graduates.
The placements are said to have improved but not much. After TCS, a lot of IT companies visit like Mindtree, IBM, etc. But they do not offer a decent salary.
Overall, Kalasalingam University is good considering educational facilities, infrastructure, faculties, examinations, sports activities, cultural activities, hostel facilities, hostel mess facilities, University cafeteria and the very welcoming crowd.
