Should I do a BBA from Christ University or IBS hyderabad?
It’s your attitude towards learning that matters more than the college itself. Yet if I have to comment on the two colleges, I would say Christ University is a fairly good choice. The main reasons are
- The fest culture makes you come out of your comfort zones and test your limits and diversify your talents.
- The overqualified rules set by the college increase your patience level ten folds
- You get to live in Bangalore, the city of innumerable opportunities and dreams.
However, if you are joining the college with the mindset of being taught then you need to rectify it. Here it’s you who has to force yourself to learn no one is going to push you. Anyone who wants to learn about business, in reality, will not be able to gain much from this B School. The B School churns out managers only. Rarely does it give birth to a business owner or entrepreneur despite the university’s module for entrepreneurship in a semester.
How is IMS Ghaziabad for a BBA?
IMS Ghaziabad is one of the leading B Schools in the country that offers a rigorous program of BHA and MBA and other courses. The institute is a three-campus institute ranked 18th in the TIMES B schools survey and No.8 in North India.
- Education: The college is affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University (Meerut University). The total fees stand at INR 7.95 lakh. The teachers are learned and experienced and help you in every manner. Their corporation instilled a friendly environment. They adopt excellent pedagogy and offer deep insight into their respective fields.
- Extracurricular activities: IMS conducts various workshops to enhance the students' personalities. They are encouraged to attend seminars and talks and get maximum exposure. - Infrastructure: The college is on NH24 and can be easily located. But the major issue is availing public transport due to its location. The building is huge 5 stories with an A/C centralized a/c. There is an auditorium, board room, Sports archive, MDP room, Meeting cabins, and many other amenities. There is also a football court and the library is secured with fingerprints and fully decked with all academic books, journals, and newspapers.
- Canteen: The campus has a six-storied boys and girls hostel. There is also a mess facility where day scholars can pay a minimum of 70/- to get a good meal. There is an air-conditioned canteen as well to satisfy all cravings of the day, which is also a good place to hang out during lunch.
Overall IMS Ghaziabad offers a splendid lifetime experience.
Which one is better for a BBA, IMS Ghaziabad or ITS Mohan Nagar?
IMS Ghaziabad is a far better option for BBA than ITS Mohan Nagar. Its BBA program is a three-year degree course affiliated with CCS University Meerut. The course is spread over six semesters. The program lays the foundation for its post-graduate program, MBA. Some major highlights of the college are

What are the criteria for ISB Hyderabad after a BBA?
No matter what program you have pursued before your MBA, the selection process for the PGP Program is very rigorous. ISB Hyderabad takes into consideration various factors like
- Academic: This is the major criterion for admission. It includes GMAT scores, graduation marks, and class 12 marks. You are assessed on your capability to handle the rigor and face tough competition. There is no minimum percentage or GMAT cut off but one is expected to score above-average marks in order to get shortlisted for admission. GMAT score should preferably be 700+.
- Work experience: ISB Hyderabad requires a minimum of 2 years of work experience. However more than the experience it considers your achievement and the responsibilities you handled in your company.
- Personal attribute: ISB Hyderabad focuses a lot on one’s personal attributes like contributions to society, extracurricular background, personal interests, and involvement in sports. These diversity factors in your profile are like the cherry on the cake.
Currently, the ISB Hyderabad’s PGP program is considered the best in the country. The world-class infrastructural facilities combined with excellent placement scenarios make it some of the most coveted B Schools in the country.
Which would be better? NMIMS Mumbai BBA or IIM Rohtak IPM (exit after 3rd year with a BBA degree)?
IIM Rohtak is better if you want to join IPM there and graduate with a BBA after three years.
A BBA from IIM Rohtak is unquestionably more valuable than a BBA from NMIMS, Mumbai because the course curriculum and pedagogy are superior at IIMs, which use a trimester system rather than the traditional semester system used at NMIMS.
The placements will be similar between the two. However, NMIMS wins because, with only a BBA, you'd have to apply off-campus if you wanted to be placed at IIM Rohtak, as there are no placements for BBA students.
Keeping everything in mind, you should prioritize IIM Rohtak over NMIMS because of the IIM brand and because it is a less expensive option. At the end of the day, you still have the option of pursuing an MBA at IIM Rohtak, which you do not have at NMIMS, and CAT can be quite unpredictable and difficult.
Which one is the better option, a BBA from DU or from IIM Rohtak?
Many people consider DU as a better option especially if it’s any of the top 3-4 colleges. Yet I chose IIM Rohtak. Now I am going to list down reasons why one should choose DU or IIM Rohtak separately
Why one should go for DU
- You end up saving more than 10 lakhs which is a big amount
- The BBA course here is fairly new and promising
- The location advantage one avail while studying DU is far better than Rohtak.
- If one is sure that they can clear CAT
Why one should go for IIM Rohtak
- If you are a non-math student and have zero interest in commerce
- If you want to give one more chance CAT, you can give it after 3 years.
- The additional 10 lakhs rupees becomes more like insurance for your seat reserved in IIM Rohtak. This will save you from taking a year drop and an additional year to work.
Now on the basis of the above points, you can make a decision that suits you the best.
I got Christ University BBA. Now I'm preparing for IPMAT. If I get IIM BODH GAYA or JAMMU, should I take them or continue with Christ University?
My cousin faced a similar dilemma. Initially, she was stuck and could not decide which college to go to. Ultimately she made a decision after analyzing the pros and cons of both institutions. She told me that one has to be extremely sure about what one wants to pursue in order to make this decision.
You should go for any of both the IIMs if
- If you value the IIM tag more than anything even the course itself
- If you are looking for great exposure to your life and want overall development rather than just Master
You may go for Christ University if
- If you want to just pursue BBA and gain a job experience
- If you are not willing to spend a rendezvous fee at IIMs
One major advantage of going for IPM from any IIM is that they all offer an exit option after 3 years, so if you give CAT and you are unable to get enough score to get shortlisted by any IIM, then you are on the safer side. This is because you will have an MBA degree and that too from one of the most reputed B schools in the nation. Whereas this may not be possible if you go for BBA.
People might be concerned that both these IIMs are comparatively new. But depending on the predictions these are bound to flourish in the years to come.
The final decision is based on your own convenience and interests.
Is MSU Baroda good for a BBA, or should I go for other options?
Your decision actually depends on the fact if you want to pursue BBA or you want to study at MSU. This is because if your sole interest is in BBA then trust me there are many better colleges for it. But if you are adamant about studying at MSU, then it’s better you search for your own interests.
I will recommend you take the aptitude test which is free in the psychology department. This test will let you decide what to study. Don’t be a part of the herd and pursue what others are pursuing. Rather follow your own interest that you will not regret later.
If I get 80% in CBSE class 12 then can I get admission in BBA in ravenshaw?
Usually, during the first round of admission, Ravenshaw BBA cutoff stays around 80%. If you have scored 80% in 12th, there’s a good chance that you will get admission.
For further rounds of admission, the required cutoff decreases depending on the number of seats available. During the third selection round, the required cutoff becomes 50%.
