While choosing a college for MTech between NITs and IIIT Allahabad you can refer to the following preference order. The following colleges have been ranked based on curriculum, placements, faculty, research work, student life, infrastructure, and other important aspects.
The reason I have placed IIIT Allahabad second last is because IIIT Allahabad is known for its BTech program and nit MTech program. Most software companies don’t permit MTech students to sit for placements and prefer BTech students only. You can not match the level of IITs and NITs. Moreover, you will find no passionate coders in MTech IIIT Allahabad.
Yes, a student in Textile Engineering can opt for a minor in CS at IIT Delhi subject to the following conditions
Any student of Textile Engineering who fulfills all the above criteria is eligible for opting for a minor in CS.
I have a few friends pursuing MTech Applied Mechanics from MNNIT Allahabad. According to their review, the Department of Applied Mechanics at MNNIT is known for its rigid and research-oriented teachers.
If you plan to complete a Ph.D. and further studies after M.tech then this course is a good option.

However, if you are opting for MTech just to prepare for BTech level competitive examinations, then it will be better not to choose this department.
MTech students do get placement offers in the on-campus placement drive. If you work hard and maintain good grades, you are likely to secure a placement offer. Many private companies visit the campus for placement drives. Securing a placement offer depends more on your effort.
I think it’s highly illogical to charge such high fees for an MTech self-sponsored at IIT Hyderabad. Usually, they consider industry-sponsored and self-sponsored as equal. However, the fees for sponsored candidates are always higher than for MHRD candidates. So I would recommend you to clear GATE or get into an industry in order to do your Mtech as 10 Lakhs for an MTech is not worth it and might put you in a financial hole. In many cases, self-sponsored students are considered inferior by the professors.
Ultimately, go for it only if you are financially stable and can afford it. Else, go for other options like GATE, industrial jobs, or many other NITs and IITs.
Many companies visit the CSE branch every year with a decent salary package. Only a limited number of core companies approach students from the EE and EC branches. The placement support at BM and BT is relatively poor at NIT Rourkela.

I feel you are torn between the IIT and NIT tags here. In that case, new IITs are a better option unless you are considering top NITs like Warangal, Surathkal, or Calicut.
But it seems you have 2 generation NITs in your list only. In that case, IIT Mandi is a preferable choice.
Either program will offer a plethora of opportunities, and choosing one over the other will be merely because of personal preferences.
According to my friend at IIT Ropar, the first batch of Microelectronics and VLSI Design was from 2019-2020, where there were only 10 and 7 students for the M.Tech and Ph.D. course respectively.

Some industries visit IIT Ropar in the first semester and the selected students have to choose to work with them. The 2nd year project can be completed in any company also if a student wishes to. The department helps the student to find the company if the student wants and if not then he/she can do the project on the campus itself.
Admissions to MTech programs are done on the basis of GATE. This program is offered by the Center for Robotics and Mechatronics at IIT Kanpur. Apart from IIT Kanpur, there are several other institutes offering courses in Robotics like
Short courses in Robotics are taught at Orissa Engineering College and the Institute of Technical Education and Research.

The trend of Climate Science and Technology is much higher in the Western world as compared to the Eastern world. However, China, Singapore, Japan, and Australia are among the countries that are investing heavily in the field of climate change. By mid-2020-2030, even India will understand the dangers of climate change. This is when such courses will become popular even in India.
At IIT Bhubaneswar, the data for M.Tech Climate Science and Technology placements 2023 was quite promising.

Though not as good as CSE or ECE placement statistics, it was at par with most other branches of M.Tech.
As of now, one can say that job opportunities and salary offers in the Climate Change field are not very high. In the coming years, there is a high chance that companies will look for professionals with expertise in the climate change department.
You should also consider the present situation deeply before making the final decision. As of now, this course has huge potential in the research field. However, job opportunities in the field of Climate Science and Climate Change are very limited, especially in India. Salary scopes will also differ from one university to another for any of the M.Tech branches and so you should also make comparisons with other universities.
