I will suggest never comparing colleges on the basis of placements alone. N that case many private colleges have better placements yet people run after IITs and NITs because of the brand value, the crowd, the legacy, and the research activities. It's a well-known institute among the faculty and students of top IITs. The Director Prof. S. The cultural students, technical festival, sports meet, and alumni meet consist of a lot of students from the metallurgy. ‘Technica’ is also a popular event for metallurgy students. There are also technical teams like Daksh, Drift, Phoenix, etc where you can work in.
