Should I take up CSE at VIT, Vellore or any branch in BITS Goa?

BITS Goa is definitely better than VIT since the college itself is a brand and the placements are equally good.

• If you are getting Civil or Manufacturing at Pilani, Goa, or Hyderabad and CSE at VIT, you should go to VIT as the branch matters along with the college. 
• You might not be allowed to sit for IT company placements if you are from other branches and not CSE or electronics.
• At BITS, you can even do a finance minor which will give you an added edge in placements. You can get placed at companies like Goldman Sachs, ZS Securities, etc. 
• If you are getting placed in a dual degree or mechanical or even other electronics degrees, go with BITS. Otherwise only choose CSE at VIT.

When it comes to average placements, even for branches like civil, the placements are better in BITS and even greater than the average CSE ones at VIT. Companies that pay less than INR 4 lakhs per annum are not allowed on campus at BITS.
