After completing my MBA from XLRI HRM, can I shift to some other domains like marketing, finance, general management, etc.?
Yes, you can shift to different domains such as Marketing, Finance, General Management, etc. after completing your MBA from XLRI HRM. Many HRM students have done this in the past. So, it’s not impossible. You will know the basics of management from your degree, you need to acquire knowledge and experience in the domain of your choice. Though difficult, it is certainly doable. </

My cousin is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and he completed his MBA from that institute. A lot of people do not have an idea that is Masters In Business Administration, which gives you the capability to have a bird’s eye view of the system.
Even if your specialization is HR, you can move anywhere you want. The path would definitely be difficult as rejections are a common thing but you will succeed if you commit to working hard. If you give up, the “what ifs” will haunt you. You’ll be thinking about what could have been if you had stuck on pursuing your goals.
