Remarks :

Qualifying JEE Mains and JER Advanced. Application for the institute is done by JoSAA. Intimation about the reporting dates of particular colleges was not given in JoSAA and was not even redirected to the website of the institute we got allotted. Reservation is available for SC, ST.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose Aerospace Engineering out of my interest. Faculty-student ratio in IIT KGP is 1:21. The faculty of IIT KGP is PhD-qualified researchers and they teach us on the blackboard or through PowerPoint presentations. We have one class test, one midterm, and the final term examination.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Students get internships and get placed through the CDC(Career Development Centre). Many companies visit IIT KGP and provide internships. Students are eligible for internships from the 3rd year of B.Tech and 4th year of the dual degree program.

Placement Experience :

For campus placements, students will be eligible from the fourth year. Students are eligible for internships from the third year. The highest package this year is 2.68 cr per annum and the average package is 26 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For IITs and NITs, we have a good fee structure. We can avail of fee concession by producing the family income documents If the Family income is less than 5 lakh rupees, we get a 2/3rd concession and if the income is less than 1 lakh, we get a complete tuition fee waiver.

Campus Life :

At IIT KGP we have spring fest and kshitij. Kshitij has conducted Our classrooms are too good. We have plug points to charge our laptop during January. We have approximately 5 lakh books in the library of IIT KGP. tops, phones. The general championship is conducted in our college which is a competition among our halls in every sport. We have 74 social groups in IIT KGP.

Hostel Facilities :

We have good facilities in the room. But nowadays we are facing a water shortage. Meal quality is good and we have different types of meals available. The registration process for the hostel was not as expected. It took 6 hours for us to get registered in the hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

A brief introduction with Haldia Institute Of Technology

Placement Experience:

Placement is too good in other private colleges in Bengal. Placement is started at the end of the 6th semester. If you talk about the average package so average package is 4-5 lakh per annum and the highest package is 41 lakh per annum so companies visited like TCS, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, CAPGEMINI, MINDTREE, DELOITTE, and many more companies.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th sem students can participate in campus placement. Ultratech and simplex etc. Are the visitor company. a good amount of offers are there. The average package offered by the companies is 3LPA. Almost 60% got placement. After getting the degree I want to join a core company of civil engineering.

One of the Best engineering college

Placement Experience:

Everybody knows that the IITs are known for their campus placements with very high packaged of Jobs. The college placement quality cannot be questioned because the institution is the best engineering college in India, and the university placement is also up to par. The college has a track record of 95% selection and the remaining 5% are those who leave the placement sessions to do something else. The college's highest placement offer is 55 lacs per annum and the average wage placement is 20 lacs per annum Among the top college recruiters are Tata, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Bajaj Automotive, etc. As for my plans, I want campus placement in my college time and I work hard for that and grab my aim from campus.

Placement Experience:

In the final year students are eligible for placements. All the big tech, consult, core and finance giants visit IIT Kharagpur, there is a whole list of them like google, BCG, Microsoft, etc. For example Amazon gave 25 offers. Highest package was 2.4 Cr and lowest was around 5-6 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. My plan after getting degree is job.
