Remarks :

I took the jee main exam and got selected at NIT Durgapur. Besides this, I took a new exam. In neet exam, I got 412 marks out of 720. I also gave IISER APTITUDE TEST and got selected at IISER KOLKATA. But I left IISER and joined NIT. Eligibility of the course -- student must qualify for class 12 level exam with aggregate parentage of 75% for gen and obc, 65% for SC st and PWD students. Application details - Jee's main website application mainly starts in December. Reservation benefits - for example, I belong to the sc category. My percentage in jee mains exam was 94.5%ile and got ece but a gen student got ece at 97.5 %ile marks and obc students got ec at 95.5 %ile and St students got ec at 83%ile. -

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am passionate about engineering. I love physics that's why I chose this degree. This degree has a freedom of work in professional life Student ratio - 900 students per year. Among them 680-700 boys and Around 220-220 girls per year faculty members are average. Most of them are from top IITs like IIT KGP, Roorkee, Bombay, Kanpur, Jadavpur University and from nit Durgapur itself. We generally clear out doubts from YouTube rather than professors Exams are quite difficult. Most semester questions are from the previous year's question of the GATE exam or IIT KGPs Semester PYQ.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 32600 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I belong to the SC category so far. Sc category student academic fees are 16300? per semester. So for 4 years of BTech, it will take around 130400. The mess fee is 19500/semester and for 4 years it is 156000. For any professional degree, the WB government gives 60K. per year if students got 60% marks in the semester. And it will continue till the completion of BTech. For electronics placement percentage is very high. Around 96% got placed in the academic year 2022-2023. And some students cracked the GATE Exam and got a job at PSU.GATE Air 7 in electronics was from our college.

Campus Life :

Tech fest- Arohon.Mostly happened in March. Cultural fest - Rectracy.Mostly happened in April. There are so many books in the library. From engineering to literature all types of books are there. All classrooms are air-conditioned. There are separate desks for students. Every year Nit Durgapur hosts the annual sports in the month of March-April. Also, there is a sports activities centre where the students practice. There is a GYM also. also participates in intersports. There are so many clubs in Nit Durgapur.Like MNTc, EDC, Devsoc, Dance club, Music club, Dramatic society etc. Among them, CCA and GLUG( coding club) are the oldest and most famous ones.

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Life in Durgapur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
