Remarks :

NIT Durgapur accepts admission through JEE Main exam which is held twice every year. The application form will be released in December at nta.jeemain. ac. in. The reservation system is according to the central reservation system.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since I wanted to go for core, I chose this branch. The faculty-to-student ratio is good here. The faculties are well qualified as most of them are from NITS and IITS. They teach mostly on blackboard and most of them are Bengali. There is one mid-term exam followed by an end-term exam in each semester

Internships Opportunities :

There are various internship opportunities available in the college. The CDC actively helps students from 3rd year to do internships at various places. Also, anyone can do a research internship or project over here under any professor they like.

Placement Experience :

The college provides good placement. Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester. Companies such as Microsoft, Adobe, Qualcomm, zs associates, and core companies such as L&T, various PSUs visit in placement. The highest package is 70 lpa and the average package is 13.64lpa. Over 85% of students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee is 78800 per semester. The waiver is applicable according to the caste and income criteria of the students for which they have to show proof. The college informs about the various scholarships available in the college.

Campus Life :

Recstacy is the main cultural fest held in April, and Aarohan the technical fest is held in March. Many more fests of various clubs take place throughout the year. The college has a central library which has a large number of books and journals of various national and international authors. The classrooms are well equipped with ac and have a sound system and projectors. Sac has all kinds of sports facilities with a gym and indoor and outdoor games. There are over 20 clubs here that conduct various activities and events throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms have one cot, one almirah, and a table chair and they are all three sharing for all four years. The mess food is average, depending from Hall to hall. The mess fee is 19000 per semester. The registration process is held after the verification process every year.

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Life in Durgapur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
