Remarks :

You have to appear in the Joint Entrance Examination held every year by NTA. The application form is also released by NTA. You have to secure an all-India rank of around 26k under the general category to get an electrical branch in NIT DURGAPUR

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is a good choice if you have an interest in the electrical branch but the course curriculum is slightly hectic. The faculties are available in good proportion. The quality of teachers is very good as they are highly qualified. The semester exam is of moderate level.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The companies visiting offer various roles. The eligibility criteria is 7 CGPA and above with no active backlogs. The stipend offered is variable and ranges from 20k to 1.2 Lakh per month. You can get a decent internship if you prepare well and maintain a good CGPA

Placement Experience :

The on-campus placement process starts in your final year and you can apply to the company of your choice. The highest package offered last year was 56 LPA and the average package is around 14 LPA. Almost all students get placed here. I'm planning to go for higher studies after my degree completion

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee per semester is around 76k if you belong to the general category. The fee hike is negligible. During admission, you can also avail study loan and the rate of interest is also less. If your family income is less then also you get relaxation.

Campus Life :

Every year AAROHAN and RECSTACY are conducted which are the annual tech fest and annual cultural fest respectively. Also, an annual sports fest is conducted. The library is equipped with a fully centralised AC and you can issue any book you want. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and lifts are also available in the academic building. Large playgrounds are available here, also a badminton court and ball court are also available

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are in good condition. The electrical equipment is also in proper running condition. Meal quality is good enough and veg, non-veg both types of food are served. All students have to stay in the hostel itself. All hostels are inside the campus with a mess facility.

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Life in Durgapur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
