The application fee is Rs 1000. The exam is conducted twice a year and a common result is released on the basis of better performance . The first attempt is generally conducted in January so the application form will be available in November. The second attempt is conducted in April.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose EEE in nit Warangal because it is one of the branches with the best placements with an average salary of 20 LPA. Since it is nit faculties are highly qualified many senior faculties are not interested in teaching. Faculty to student ratio is fine. The exams are conducted quite frequently. Almost every 15 days.
Internships Opportunities :
Many multinational companies offer internships in nit w due to its tag. AMD, Adobe, Nvidia, Google, HP. Marketing intern in Gapminers. Marketing intern in Diabolo. Software intern in Innavion technologies.
Placement Experience :
Most internships start from 3rd semester but for placements, you have to wait for the start of 4th semester you may also get internships in 2nd semester depending on your skills. The highest package offered this year was 88LPA to a CSE guy. The average for EEE is 20 LPA. The overall placement percentage is 75. In branches like CSE ECE and EEE is goes up to 97 percent. I would like to have a good placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have to pay tuition fees twice in a year 62500 every 6 months. Along with that extra fees of rs 41000 in 1st year. Hostel charges are 15000 per year. The mess fee is 3500 for 30 days. Various government and private scholarships are applicable. Campus jobs are not available.
Campus Life :
Since it is one of the oldest colleges in India so infrastructure is not so good. Especially electrical, mechanical, and civil departments however metallurgy and biotechnology departments are really impressive. Technizion is the tech fest which is held in December. Most of the clubs are self-supporting. Overall it's a good college experience.
