JIPMER M.Ch Admission 2023 is going to begin soon. The application process is solely online. The candidates need to give a Computer Based Test (CBT). The selection is based on the performance of the entrance examination. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate of Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is an autonomous institution, located in Puducherry. JIPMER M.Ch Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must pass M. D/ M. S/ DNB Degree from a recognized Medical Council of India. 
• For Cardio-Thoracic Vascular Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Urology, Surgical Gastroenterology, Plastic Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, candidates must pass M. D/ M. S/ DNB Degree from a recognized Medical Council of India.
• For Surgical Oncology , candidates must have M.S./ DNB Degree in General Surgery / Obstetrics & Gynaecology / Otolaryngology (E.N.T) / Orthopaedic Surgery recognized by the Medical Council of India.

The candidates are selected on the basis of the performance of the Online Entrance Exam.

How To Apply?

Candidates can apply through online mode only. The following steps must be followed to fill up the application form of M. Ch.

• Visit the official site of JIPMER www.jipmer.edu.
• Register yourselves with Email ID, phone number, and other personal details
• Log in and fill up the application form with educational details and upload the scanned documents where required
• Pay the application fee via Net Banking/ Credit card/ Debit Card
• Submit and take a printout of the same for future use.

Exam Pattern

The admissions to the MCH course are based on the CBT exam. Computer Based Test (CBT) is an online examination of 1.30 hours. There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions. The medium is English. There are 4 marks awarded for a correct answer and -1 is deducted for an incorrect answer, and 0 is allotted for not answering.  The exam will be conducted in the English Medium only.
