NSUT B.Tech: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

NSUT BTech Admissions 2024 are expeccted to start in June- July 2024.  NSUT accepts JEE Main score for Btech admissions and further seat allocations in various campuses of NSUT is done via JAC Delhi counselling.

NSUT Delhi offers a B.Tech program in 19 specailizations. The B.Tech program is available in the regular mode only and in the minimum duration of 4 years at NSUT Delhi. The first year fees for BTech program at NSUT Delhi is INR 2.19 Lakh.

JEE Main registrations are expected to start from November 2023 and the exam will be conducted in 2 sessions. Candidates having a valid JEE Main score need to register for JEE Advanced, where registration will commence in April 2024. Currently, NTA has released the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 and Session 2 Exam dates. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 will be conducted on January 24, 2024 and Feburary 1, 2024. The session 2 exams will be conducted on April 1, 2024 and April 15, 2024.

NSUT Delhi B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for B.Tech. at NSIT must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 75% (65% for ST/SC) marks in aggregate or top 20 percentile.

• Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics should be compulsory subjects for all B.Tech. specializations except for B.Tech. in Biotechnology.
• Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Zoology/Botany should be compulsory subjects for B.Tech. in Biotechnology.

NSUT Delhi B.Tech Admission Process

The basic selection criteria for the admission of the students into the B.Tech. program is based on the JEE Mains cutoff/ ranks. A candidate who has secured more than 60% in an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and has passed English as a core subject in 10+2 boards and has JEE Main Rank are selected for the B.Tech. program at the University.

1. Visit the official website or page of the University.
2. Click on the ‘Admission’ tab on the menu bar.
3. Select ‘B.Tech. Admission through JAC Delhi 2023’.
4. Click on ‘New Registration and Registered Candidates Sign In’.
5. Click on ‘New Candidate Registration’.
6. Register by entering a valid JEE Application number and password.
7. Login using the email Id and password sent to the mobile no.
8. Fill-up the application form giving valid details.
9. Upload scanned documents, photographs, and signatures.
10. View the application form and check the details.
11. Finally submit the form by making the payment.
12. Lastly, go through the choice filling process.

2. Original and photocopy of class XII Marksheet.
3. Original and photocopy of class X Marksheet.
4. Scorecard of JEE Mains exam.
5. Category certificate if needed.

NSIT B.Tech Cutoff 2023

NSIT BTech cutoff 2023 has released through JAC Delhi counselling on the basis of JEE Main scores. The expected JEE Main cutoff for the year 2023 is tabulated below on the basis of round 4 cutoff of 2022 for Delhi and Outside Delhi Region candidates:

NSIT Delhi BTech Course Details 

The B.Tech. course is designed to offer the required and helpful theoretical knowledge in various subjects along with precise practical training. 

The University follows the CBCS pattern for the B.Tech. program.

B.Tech. program is designed comprising lectures, tutorials, laboratory work, fieldwork, project work, vocational training, viva, seminars, term papers, assignments, presentations, etc., or a combination of some of these. B.Tech. Course consists of Core, Electives, and Foundations. 

Course Allotment for Semester I and II

Course allotment of subjects for semester I and II will be similar for all the specialisations as indicated in the following two tables.

*Semester II will contain 3 departmental core subjects along with the above listed subjects.
