IIIT Bhubaneswar Scholarships
The SC/ ST category students are eligible for the following scholarships:
- G B scholarship: Top three students in each branch of B.Tech. program of each year will be awarded this scholarship. The amounts are as follows:
- First Topper: INR 20,000 per annum
- Second Topper: INR 15,000 per annum
- Third Topper: INR 10,000 per annum
- CAFAS / Medhabruti by Department of Higher Education: INR 10000 per annum for four years B.Tech program
- Prerana by SC and ST development board for SC/ ST / OBC: INR 20000 to 60000 per annum.
- Scholarship by IMFA
- Scholarship by VIKAS Educational Charitable Trust: INR 25000 per annum and it may increase as per student's need.
- Post Matric Scholarship by CHSE
- Scholarship from NCERT
- Special TFW scheme is available for 3 students of the institute apart from normal TFW as per Government norms. Students that applied for TFW scheme during admission and were not allotted a seat under that category shall be considered for this scheme subject to fulfillment of required criteria.

Considering all the fees that a student has to pay, including tuition fees, hostel fees, mess fees etc you've to pay around 1,50,000 for the fees per semester. Which makes the overall 4-year fees to be around 12 lakh rupees.

For me, fees is a bit higher than expected Normally government colleges don't take this much but iiit Bhubaneswar fees is 10 L+ which is a bit higher And there's no concession for reservation students which makes it worse The scholarship is not directly from college. they sometimes inform us by mail but normally we need to apply from the state portal website of odisha And yes if you are a topper like top 3 then you can get stipend others don't

The fee structure is somewhat heavy In the first sem, you have to pay 126000 including hostel fees (9000) The fees are increasing semester-wise At the end of four years, you will need to pay approximately 120000
