Jawaharlal Nehru architecture and fine arts university (JNAFAU) conducts an entrance test for admission in Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Design courses. It is a four year degree course provided by JNAFAU. There are five specialisations under BFA i.e Applied arts, animation, photography, painting and sculpture. BFA (Applied art) has 35 seats, BFA (painting) has 20 seats, BFA (sculpture) has 10 seats, and BFA (photography) has 30 seats.

There is 85% seats reserved for the applicants from Andhra University area, Osmania university area, and Sri Venkateswara university area.

Application forms for the admissions are available online for all the courses. Students who have completed their intermediate or equivalent degree can apply for the program.

Applicants have to visit the official website and have to pay an application fee of INR 1200 /- and for SC/ ST category students there is an application fee of INR 600 /-. Registration fee can be paid through Net Banking/ Credit card and Debit card. This fees cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

  • Upper Age Limit is 21 years at the time of admission.
  • 10+2 from any recongized board

Application Process

  • Download the application form from the official website- www.jnafau.ac.in
  • Send the filled application form and DD of INR 1200 in favour of registrar, JNAFAU, payable at Hyderabad. 
  • For SC and ST application fee is INR 600/- . 
  • Students can even fill the application form and fees online. 

How To Apply?

Students holding intermediate degree can fill up the application form. Students have to appear for the entrance test and later on the basis of the entrance test a merit list will be released.

Students making up in the merit list can take the admission.

  • Students must visit the official website of JNAFAU.
  • Click on "BFA and B.design admissions".
  • Now click on "apply now"
  • Fill the application form.
  • You have to fill in the relevant details.
  • Students must choose the caste and region they belong from.
  • Students have to upload their signature and passport size photograph.
  • Students must fill the right contact number and Email ID.
  • Now the student can click on "Submit" button.
  • Students have to pay an application fee of INR 1200 (general) or INR 600 (SC/ST).
