Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University offers the following PG degree Arts programmes to its students:
- MFA (Applied Arts and Visual Communication)
- MFA (Painting and Visual Communication)
- MFA (Sculpture)
- MFA (Photography and Visual Communication)
Only the candidates with a relevant bachelors’ degree are eligible to apply for the above-mentioned courses. The duration of all the courses is 2 years. With a fee of Rs. 57,000/- per annum.
JNAFAU also offers part-time PG courses under the discipline of Fine Arts.
Candidates are required to clear the entrance exam to become eligible for MFA admission. The entrance exam will take place in the month of July.
The MFA aspirants have to submit the application forms before 16 November 2021 (tentative) along with DD of Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 600/- for SC/ST).

Eligibility
The candidates must possess a bachelors degree in Fine Arts or any other equivalent degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.

The candidate has to clear the entrance exam conducted by the institute.
International students can apply for Provisional Admission into PG programs of the University prior to the commencement of the academic year..
All students admitted under the International Student category are exempted from writing any entrance exam.
Admission Process
Selection to the MFA courses is on the basis of performance of the candidates in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
The written test will be followed by an interview round.

Minimum qualifying marks for written examination is 50% for general, 45% for physically challenged and 40% for SC/ST. Candidates who score above minimum required marks will be called for interview.
After the declaration of results, the candidates will go through a screening process during which they have to bring the following documents:
- SSC Marksheet (10+2)
- BFA Provisional or Degree Certificate
- Marksheets from VI class onwards
- Caste Certificate, (if applicable)
- Residence Certificate, (if applicable)
- Transfer Certificate of BFA College
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
Admission Reservation
Admission into 85% of seats in each course shall be reserved for the candidates belonging to:
- Andhra
- Telangana
- Rayalaseema
In the ratio of 42:36:22 respectively and the balance of 15% seats shall be unreserved seats.
Non-Local candidates will be considered as ‘other state’ candidates.
They will be considered for admission only under National Integration Scheme (NIS) i.e., 5% of seats in each course.
Admissions in this quota will be applicable only to those candidates who write the Fine Arts and Design Entrance Examination 2021.
Candidates can attend the Spot Admissions counselling for leftover seats, this is offer can be availed only by the local candidates who cleared the entrance exam.
International Students will be admitted over and above the approved intake in each course up to a maximum of 15% of the sanctioned seats in each course, depending upon the availability of adequate infrastructure.
