Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University or IP University (IPU) offers a full-time B.Tech. program across different streams in affiliated self-financed and government institutes running under its effective management system. IPU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for B.Tech admission at IPU, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Candidates must have passed class 12th from any recognized board with a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.;
  • Additionally, the candidate must have passed the exam with English as a core subject in a qualifying exam.

Note: For Communities such as SC/ ST/ OBC, 5% relaxation on marks are allowed.

Candidates applying for B.Tech. admission must appear in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). IPU will conduct admission for BTech Bio-Technology program on the basis of IPU CET or CUET UG scores. The application steps for the B.Tech. admission are:

  • Fill the application form available online on the University website.
  • Apply only, if you fulfil all the eligibility and qualification criteria;required for the course.
  • Results are declared on the University website.
  • Also, dates and counselling details will be notified at the University website.
  • The application fee of INR 1200 should be paid online through the payment gateway.;
