Master in Technology (M.Tech) at IP University (IPU) is a UGC recognized regular Programme of 2 year duration. The University offers and M.Tech Programme in diverse areas such as Tool Engineering, Nanoscience & Technology, Robotics & Automation, ECE/ DC/ SP/ RF & M/VLSI, and Chemical engineering. Currently, IP University is running more than 60 programmes in 10 University Schools of Studies and 80 Institutes (Government as well as self-financing), imparting professional education to more than 38,000 students with an annual intake of about 12,000.

IPU M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The essential eligibility criteria for IPU M.Tech include minimum 60% or equivalent in the qualifying examination as under:-

  • B.Tech. / B.E. in Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering /Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

Grad. IETE/ AMIE (ECE/ CSE/ IT/ EE).

  • M.Sc. (IT/ Electronics/ Computer Science/Informatics/ Information Science & Technology/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Operation Research/Applied Physics).
  • GATE qualified with a valid and qualified score card OR
  • CET qualified (for Non-GATE) candidates.
  • Blind (including colour blind)ess, deaf or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission.

IPU M.Tech Counselling 2023

Candidates shortlisted through GATE / IPU CET score need to participate in the IPU CET 2023 M.Tech counselling process. Selected applicants will have to report for the IPU CET M.Tech 2023 counselling as per the prescribed date and venue published by the admission authorities. While reporting for counselling of IPU CET M.Tech 2023, candidates will be required to carry original academic certificates, category certificate, admit card and other requisite documents.

Ans. If u have missed the GATE exam for admission to M.Tech Programme, u can still be considered eligible by IPU if you appear in the IPU CET exam conducted by the institute itself.
