JNU ranking 2022 has been released by top ranking agencies like NIRF, QS University ranking, Outlook, etc. In the country-wide ranking, JNU successively holds 2nd position in the recently released NIRF 2022 listing in the university category and 9th position out of 100 in the overall category. JNU has been retaining its 2nd rank consecutively for the last 3 years showing high standards of teaching and RoI.

JNU is a globally renowned university with an excellent teacher-student ratio of 1:10. The JNU campus is a microcosm of diverse Indian nationality, comprising students from every nook and corner of the country and from every group and stratum of society. 

When it comes to the international position, JNU has been ranked among the top 15 Indian Universities under QS World University rankings. THE WEEK & Hansa Research conducted the best university survey 2021 and ranked JNU at the 1st position among the top multidisciplinary universities in India. NIRF is an approved ranking agency by MHRD that ranks the educational institutes and universities across India. NIRF ranks the universities on various parameters such as teaching, learning & resources, research & professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach & inclusivity, and peer perception. JNU has retained its 2nd position for years in the University category and 9th in the overall category by NIRF Ranking 2022. JNU QS Global Ranking 2023

The QS Global World ranking has been functioning since 2014. It is one of the leading global university ranking platforms. The QS World University Rankings 2022 has released the list for this year. The list carried a total number of 22 Indian universities in the top 1,000 positions. In the top 3 spots, there are IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IISc Bangalore

All three major central universities in Delhi — Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Jamia Millia Islamia — have slipped in the QS World University Rankings 2023, with the faculty-student ratio being a crucial component where they are lagging behind.

QS World University Rankings 2023: List of top universities in India

Quacquarelli Symonds on May 8 announced the 2023 edition of World Universities, which shows the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore is the top university in India, followed by IIT Mumbai and IIT Delhi in second and third places respectively.

JNU has been ranked at 15th place in the QS world university ranking among the 41 Indian Engineering institutions. The list of the top Universities/ Colleges offering Engineering courses in India is given below:

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021 includes a number of 1,500 universities across 93 countries and regions. Times ranks the universities on the basis of several parameters such as Teaching, Research, Citations, Industrial Income and International Outlook. 

JNU found its position at 601-800 slab in the world university rankings 2021, the rank is the same as the previous year and as well for the Asia University ranking list.
