The placement process at DAIICT is robust, beginning after the first year for M.Sc. students, with the placement cell actively assisting. Final-year students can apply for winter internships and jobs. Around 151 companies, including major employers like Amazon, Microsoft, and TCS, participate in campus recruitment, leading to nearly 100% placement for B.Tech students. Internship offers range from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000 per month, and job offers start above ₹6,00,000 annually. Companies such as Amnex Infotech and ERISA offer roles in agriculture analytics, software development, data analysis, and quality assessment. Students work on projects using skills in earth observation, Python, machine learning, and deep learning. The cost per semester includes a tuition fee of Rs. 65,000, a value-added course fee of Rs. 25,000, hostel rent of Rs. 24,000, and variable food expenses, totaling approximately Rs. 1,30,000 to Rs. 1,40,000. Scholarships are available for the top 3 students, along with government scholarships. On admission, a payment of Rs. 1,15,000 is required, comprising tuition, a refundable Rs. 25,000 caution deposit, and the value-added course fee.
