The college offers three main programs: BTech, MTech, and MScIT. Admissions for BTech require JEE Test scores and 12th-grade marks, with 50% of seats reserved for Gujarat residents. MTech admissions depend on GATE scores, while MScIT candidates are selected through a nationwide entrance test, needing a minimum of 60% or a 6.0 CGPI in undergraduate studies. The MScIT program admits 120 students annually. The faculty is highly qualified, mostly with doctorate degrees and significant corporate experience, focusing on practical programming skills.
The MScIT fee is 75,000 rupees per semester, with an additional 15,000 rupees for hostel rent, excluding food, which is mandatory for BTech students. Despite concerns about fees, especially during the non-study fourth semester, the structure is considered reasonable due to excellent placement opportunities and facilities. The college ranks 11th globally, with average placement packages over 10 lakh per annum and the highest reaching 45 lakh. BTech students receive a 100% placement assurance with an average package of 7 lakh.
Over 100 companies, including Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, participate in recruitment, offering packages above 30 lakh. Students also have access to internships with good stipends. Though the institute does not offer its own scholarships, it assists students in applying for external scholarships and loans. Gujarat state scholarships and bank loans, with college support, are commonly used by students.
