DAIICT Gandhi Nagar Admission 2024: Cut Off, Eligibility, Application process

DA-IICT offers admission to the B.Tech and B.Tech (Hons) on the basis of JEE Main score under All India Category. The institute offers 3 different specializations in B.Tech.

DA-IICT M.Tech (ICT) Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate with a qualifying degree in any one of the following:

• BE/BTech (CS/IT/EL, ECE, Electrical, Instrumentation)
• M.Sc. degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Mathematics / Physics / Statistics.
• M.S./M.Sc. degree of DA-IICT.
• M.C.A. degree (3 year program)

DA-IICT M.Tech (EC) and (CSE) Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate with a qualifying degree in any one of the following:

• BE/BTech (CS/IT, ECE, Electrical, Instrumentation), MSc (Electronics)
• M.Sc. degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Mathematics / Physics / Statistics.
• M.S./M.Sc. degree of DA-IICT.
• M.C.A. degree (3 year program)

The aggregate marks in the qualifying degree should not be less than 60% or equivalent as per the norm set by the degree awarding Institute/University.

Selection Process

• For GATE qualified candidates the merit list for admission will be prepared on the basis of GATE score and/or personal interview of candidates applying for admission. Counseling for allotment of specialization will be done online.

• For Non-GATE qualified candidates, the admissions will be on the basis of the marks obtained in qualifying degree and the interview.

The institute invites applications for M.Sc. To be eligible, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with 60% aggregate marks.

Selection Criteria:

For M.Sc IT: The candidates are selected through an entrance test to be conducted through online proctored test.

For M.Sc Data Science and Agriculture Analytics: 

There will be two components to the process: (1) an online proctored entrance test and (2) an interview.

The institute invites applications for M.Des course in Communication Design. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• A Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a statutory university in the fields of Design, Science, Engineering, Technology, Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Applied Arts and Performing Arts. Professional Diplomas from nationally recognized institutions such as NID, NIFT, CEPT and Srishti School of Art and Design will also be considered for eligibility. Candidates must have 55% marks or equivalent in the last qualifying degree/examination and are required to submit the provisional Degree certificate or proof of completion of Degree before 30 October 2022 failing which their admission is liable to cancellation

Selection Criteria:

• Candidates for this program without a valid CEED score will be selected for interview through a Design Aptitude Test (DAT) to be conducted through online proctored Test.
• Candidates with a valid CEED score will be selected for interview if they have qualified Part A, and have obtained a minimum of 25 marks in Part B

DA-IICT PhD Eligibility Criteria:

• For ICT and related domains:

An M.Tech/M.C.A/M.Sc/M.Phil/B.Tech or equivalent degree in ICT/ CS/ EC/ IT/ EE/ IN/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Bio-informatics/ Electronics or other appropriate disciplines with 60% marks;

• For Computational Science, Mathematics and Physical Sciences:

An M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Phil/B.Tech/BE or equivalent degree in Engineering Physics/ Computational Science/ Computer Science/ Scientific Computing/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Electronics/ Bioinformatics or other appropriate disciplines with 60% marks.

DA-IICT PhD Selection Criteria:

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on performance in entrance test;
• Final selection will be made through an interview.
