Amity University Gurgaon Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility Criteria, Selection Process, Application Form

Amity University, Gurgaon (Manesar) offers various technical programs at the undergraduate level, in the fields of Engineering and Technology, Designing, Planning and Architecture leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch). The duration for the B.Tech, B.Des and B.Plan courses is four-year whereas the B.Arch program takes five-year to complete its course duration.

Candidates need to pass in the 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks in order to seek admission in the B.Tech program. To apply for the B.Arch or B.Plan program, at least 50% marks in 10+ 2 level examination with Mathematics as a subject is needed.

In order to seek admission in B.Tech program, candidates need to have a valid score in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by CBSE.

Admissions to all B.Tech programs of Amity University, Gurgaon (Manesar) campus are also done through a Computer Based Test (CBT) which is called Amity JEE. Therefore, aspiring candidates who want admission in this institute have to appear in Amity JEE examination conducted by the university itself.

Candidates seeking admission in B.Arch program, have to go through a national level entrance test, popularly known as National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

Admissions to the B.Plan and B.Des programs are done through an Entrance Test followed by an Interview round (on the same day) conducted by the university itself.

Apart from the technical courses, Amity University Gurgaon (Manesar) also offers career-oriented courses like BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application). Both of the programs are three-year full-time degree courses.

For the BCA program, a candidate must have passed in the 10+2 level examination with Mathematics or Computer Science. Admission to the BCA program is made through an Entrance Test followed by an Interview round conducted by the university.

To apply for the BBA program, a candidate must have cleared the 10+2 level examination and obtained at 55% marks in aggregate. Admissions to the BBA specializations are done on the basis of merit in the Screening Test and Personal Interview conducted at the same day by the university.

At the undergraduate level, the university offers various courses like B.Sc (Hons), B.A. (Hons), BFA, BHM, BTTM programs. The B.Sc (Hons) and B.A. (Hons) programs are three-year full time degree courses, provided with a wide range of specializations. Apart from B.Sc (Hons) and B.A. (Hons), duration for the rest of the UG courses BTTM, BFA, BHM is four-year.

Candidates seeking admission in any of the B.Sc (Hons) programs are selected through an interview and Test on the same day, conducted by the university. In order to seek admission in the BFA program, a creative test will be held by the university on the same day of interview.

Admission to the Undergraduate courses is done on the basis of merit in 10+2 level examination followed by an English language test and Interview.

The university offers various integrated courses those award dual degrees like B.Tech + M.Tech, B.Tech. + MBA, BCA + MCA, B.A. LL.B (Hons), B.Com. LL.B. (Hons), BBA. LL.B. (Hons). B.Sc. + M.Sc. The B.Tech +MBA and B.Tech + M.Tech programs are offered under multiple specializations. Duration period for each of the integrated courses is five-year.

Candidates need to clear the 10+2 level or equivalent examination from a recognized academic institution to meet the eligibility criteria of the integrated courses. To apply for integrated courses like, B.Tech + M.Tech and B.Tech. + MBA candidates need to have either PCB or PCM combination at their 10+2 level.

Admissions to the integrated programs are based on merit the last qualifying examination. For admission in some of the integrated courses, candidates need to go through a screening test followed by an interview.

Amity University Gurgaon (Manesar) offers a number of Undergraduate level Medical courses leading to the degrees like B.Sc (Medical), BASL (Bachelor of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology), BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy). The B.Sc Medical course further specializes in three paramedical disciplines such as Dietetics & Applied Nutrition, Medical Lab Technology and Home Science. All these courses are three-year full-time regular courses. The BASLP and BOT programs are provided for a duration of four-year.

Admissions to the above-mentioned courses are done through an Entrance Test followed by an Interview (on the same day) conducted by the university. Selection is done based on the merit and performance of the candidates in the previous qualifying examinations, Entrance Test and Interview taken all together.

Amity University Gurgaon (Manesar) campus offers undergraduate and postgraduate level programs in the field of Nursing. The undergraduate level courses include a four-year B.Sc in Nursing and a two-year Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing. The postgraduate level Nursing program leads to the M.Sc degree, which is provided with a number of specializations namely Community Health Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing. All these specializations are of a period of two-year.

Admissions to the undergraduate level Nursing programs are based on merit in the 10+2 level examination. However, candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB combination) and obtained minimum required marks.

For admission to the M.Sc (Nursing) program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline and secure minimum required marks. Admissions are done through a Screening Test and an Interview conducted by the university.

The university offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) program under cluster of different specializations. All the M.Tech specializations are provided with a course duration of two-year for each. To apply for the above-mentioned program, candidates must hold either a B.Tech degree in relevant discipline of Engineering or any other Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.

At the postgraduate level, Amity University offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree programs with a duration of three-year and two-year respectively. In addition, the university also offers MBA (Executive) Full Time and MBA Executive (for Working Professionals) on part time basis.

To apply for the MCA program, candidates need to have a graduation degree along with Mathematics in 10+2 level. Candidates holding a BCA degree are also considered eligible for MCA.

Candidates who have secured minimum of 50% marks in Graduation are eligible to apply for MBA program. Candidates interested to apply for MBA (Executive) Full Time, need to have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks along with at least three-year of work experience. For the MBA (Executive) part-time program, aspirants need to have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks along with minimum two-year of work experience.

To get admission into the MCA program, candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will have to go through an Entrance test followed by an interview conducted by the university.

For admission to the MBA program, candidates having a valid CAT (80 percentile)/ MAT (550)/ XAT (80 percentile)/ NMAT (65 percentile)/ GMAT (500) score card will be given preference. Admission will be done through Amity Written Test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

At the postgraduate level, Amity University offers numerous courses leading to award degrees like M.Sc, M.A, MFA, M.Com, MSW and LL.M. All these courses are two-year full-time courses except LL.M, which is of one-year duration. Alongside, the university offers PG Diploma programs in Journalism & Mass Communication and Counselling Psychology. The M.Sc program in Renewable Energy is also provided on part-time basis, for which the course duration is three-year.

A Graduation level degree in relevant discipline is required to be considered as eligible for the postgraduate level courses. Admission to all the programs is done on the basis of entrance test conducted by University followed by Interview on the same day.

All these courses are two-year full time regular courses. In addition, the university also provides the MHA (Executive) program for the working professionals.

Admissions to the PG Medical courses are done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination in the relevant discipline. To get admission to these courses, candidates must hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Amity University Gurgaon (Manesar) campus offers doctoral programs under a wide range of subjects and disciplines leading to the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) degrees. The Ph.D programs are also offered on Part time basis.

The duration of the Ph.D. Full Time programs is three-year whereas the duration of the Ph.D. Part time programs is four and a half-a-year. The course duration of the M.Phil program is one-year.

For admission to any of the doctoral programs, candidates must need to hold a recognized Master’s level degree in the relevant discipline.

Candidates aspiring for the doctoral programs will have to appear in an Entrance Test (unless they are exempted) followed by an Interview at the university campus. The entire selection process will take place on the same day.
