NIT Srinagar BTech Admission 2024 registrations are going on. The institute presents to students its flagship course for a duration of 4 years i.e., BTech at the UG level. NIT Srinagar B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who are interested in taking admission to the NIT B.Tech course should have passed their 12th from a recognized board of India with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as the compulsory subjects.
• Also, they should have an aggregate mark of around 60% or 6.5 CGPA on their 12th board.

JEE Main 2023 Entrance Exam pattern

The entrance exam is conducted by JE Apex Board through Computer Based Test twice a year.

• Total questions asked are 90 in number for B.Tech; under which 4 marks are awarded for correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answer.
• JEE Main Paper 1 for B.Tech students is based on the topics studied in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of Class 11th and Class 12th.

NIT Srinagar B.Tech: How to Apply?

Candidates who are interested in applying for the course need to follow the following steps of application:

• Visit the official website of JEE Mains: https://www.jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Click on the application tab available on the screen and open the application form.
• Provide the initial personal contact details and it will provide a system-generated application number.
• Note down the application number provided by the system and create a strong password as per the instructions.
• Log in again using the application number and create a password and fill in the form.
• Carefully fill in all the details of personal and education qualifications.
• Upload the scanned images of recent photographs and signatures per the dimensions mentioned.
• A fee of INR 650 (for the general category) of INR 325 ( for the reserved category) through any online mode of payment and complete the application process.
• Take a hard copy of the fees receipts and the filled application form for future reference.

Application Process for JoSAA Counselling

After filling out the application form for JEE Mains and appearing for the entrance exam, the candidates who will have successful JEE Mains scores have to undergo the JoSAA Counselling process. For the JoSAA Counselling process, candidates need to register themselves by following the steps below

• Visit the official JoSAA Website: https://www.josaa.nic.in and click on the registration page.
• Using the JEE Mains Application number, candidates can log in to the page.
• While filling out the form, initially candidates should ensure the already fill details and then click on ‘Submit Changes’.
• Fill in your preference of colleges and specializations available at the institution.
• Then Lock the selected choices by clicking on ‘I agree to lock my choices’ to ensure the selection.
• After completing the selection process, take out a printout of the filled application form for future reference during counseling.
